MS to publish Steel Battalion in Europe (Capcom)

Microsoft has today announced that it has entered into a deal with Capcom that will see Microsoft publishing Steel Battalion in Europe in the spring of next year. Exact European release dates and pricing for the game--which can only be played using a specially designed controller with 40 buttons and switches, two joysticks, a gear stick, and three floor pedals--have not been announced at this time.

"Microsoft Game Studios is pleased to be publishing this title in Europe," said Sandy Duncan, VP Xbox, EMEA. "It is an extraordinary game which really demonstrates the scope of what can be achieved using Xbox hardware. Capcom is one of the most respected publishers and developers in the industry and we are pleased to be working with them so closely on this title. We believe Steel Battalion will push the boundaries of gameplay to an even more realistic level."

Its not that capcom will be bought by Nintendo. Its that they have only announced games for GC since E3. Or at least not many games for other systems. I havent really kept tab.

I think its just a ploy for capcom to save money. Because it certainly wont be the largest seller.

Whatever, doesnt really affect anybody...

It's good to see the game will come out earlier in Europe because of this new publishing deal.

GamesRadar said that though the game is as hard as hell, it's still very immersive.

Null, if you were to pay attention to Jonbo's posts in the XBox forum, you would realize that Joeiss is justified in what he said. Jonbo rarely ever passes up the chance to insult MS and in fact he does so whenever possible.

I have simple decided to ignore any comments he makes about the XBox (hence my previous post) as his obvious biases against MS taint any opinion he may have. While Joeiss may take a different route than myself in that repsect, I can't say I don't agree with him.
