Talking Gametavern.net

Look at our main site! Or rather... try to look at it!
We don't have one anymore!

I think its just because the News wasn't getting updated very much and plus, people didn't really care for much on the former main page so I guess thats why it disappeared.

If you just noticed this now, well...words escape me...

It wasnt about the news (though it could have been). To my understanding, PE deleted the site, cause we were going to change it anyway. But he didnt want to work on doing it. So he asked me to work the site, yet I am limited in the HTML and CGI...So, maybe if Neo wants to (If he even knows how) he can...

But Im not saying he has to. We may just take the approach of posting news in the forums, Its not like you read the site anyways.

It may also comfort you to know that we choose not to open up the creation of the site to forum members because we dont trust that you will stick around. HAPPY POSTING!

I always read the main site...*shrugs* I liked it actually...

Sometimes you guys had some good editorials, and every now and then I heard news here before I heard it anywhere else...

lmao, the fact that you just now noticed it should tell you why it's not there anymore.

There are plans to get it rebuilt however.

In the meantime, why don't you install vBHome Lite? I use it over at my site.

http://electronicgamingworld.com

What you do is set a forum up and set people who are journalists. People who have that status then are able to post new threads, and those threads turn up as articles on the main page. It's actually very quite handy. For more info, check out the official support thread at http://www.vbulletin.org/forum/showt...threadid=36756 , it's on the main page. Of course, if you're willing to download the beta for vBulletin 3 like I am, it's really not worth it. Well, it's all up to you.
