any Dragonball/Dragonball Z fans here?
I didn't really start watching the series close until about 3 months ago... now I have fallen in love with the show.
I was just wondering if anybody else here is a fan of the series.

I have only seen the last 3 Sagas (not counting Kid Buu).. you could go to www.dragonballz.com to get caught up... that is if you want to.

Hmm well then you know some things... here are a few questions:
1) Is it true that they are not writing any more Dragonball cartoons over in Japan?
2) if it's done in Japan... how far away is US from seeing the end of the series. (we are at the Kid Buu thing right now)
3) Is the the series going to have any name changes in the future (like how DB turned to DBZ)?

Dragonball is done in Japan from what I know.
I believe DBZ is nearing the end.
The series goes: DB, DBZ, GT.

1) yes, i'm almost positive that they are done writing Dragonball/Z/GT cartoons in japan. they stopped a long time ago i believe.
2) the US has seen the end of the series (i believe), some tv stations usually have to find or import the whole series, so it may take a while before you see the end of the series (depending on which tv station you watch it on)
3) after DBZ there was Dragon Ball: GT (grand tour). it stars Goku (duh), trunks, and Pan. never watched it though.

I use to be in love with DragonBall. Even, recently, I met the girl who did the voice for Bulma! They changed though about half-way through DBZ, though... But yeah, she was really cool. She directing the play we were having--The Little Shop of Horrors. I think she also did Ranma 1/2, and some other anime.

the whole DB/DBZ/DBGT thing is done in Japan, afterall, DB started there in like 1989. DBZ started airing in the early 90's and DBGT was over in about 1998...thats nearly 5 years ago, so the popularity is like..nothing. Why do you think American developers are the ones developing the new DBZ games?
I think the series hasnt eneded in the US yet, although I wouldnt know, as I dont have Cartoon Network...
I think after DBGT, the whole DragonBall idea will be finished, its getting rather boring now...well, I stopped watching at when Buu was first revealed...the Frieza and Saiyan saga were much better IMO.

There are even NES and SNES games of DB! Some of the SNES fighters are pretty entertaining.
I watched DBZ until Cell died. Then I didn't have any more time to watch it... Perhaps I'm gonna download some sagas.

I love it too. If you want to catch up on the episodes, and learn about DBGT, then head on over to the Dragonball section of this site.
I actually heard that they were starting production on a new Dragonball series, but the name escapes me, but like the two before it, it consists of DB + one or two of the letters of the alphabet .
