Golden Sun 2
So, are there any Golden Sun fans in here? I know I am. I have the first one and I am loving it. I already beat it and can't wait for the second one to come out. So, who else is interested?
Also, for those who haven't played the first one, Golden Sun 2 takes place right after the end of Golden Sun... It is said that Golden Sun 2 is Golden Sun on steroids...

Doesn't it follow the story of Felix and Sheba and stuff?
I loved Golden Sun, although it sometimes made me feel sick... weird...

It follows their story after Golden Sun (and a tiny bit before).
I can't wait until it's released. I loved the original.

Yes, I'm looking forward to it. Back in the day when I was first enjoying it I had 30 different sigs and avs. I do love the game.
My friend likes it too, he imported the Japanese version. Thank god for the GBA's multiple territories! This game looks freaking sweet. I don't want to spoil too much, but you can switch your characters in battles just like in FFX, with no cost and all! It's very fun. The summons are especially nice. My friend blabbed my whole physics class about the game and it's features... but I won't, because I don't want to spoil any more for you all.
Oh yeah, and I highly suggest you go back and get every Djinn in GS1 if you didn't, it pays off! *insert rather large wink here*
In closing. Get it the minute it comes out if you could stand the first.

Well, I did the same thing as Agrist... So now I am replaying it and I am almost done. I have 20 djinns. Also, what do you mean you can change characters during battle? There are 4 characters total aren't there? If not, please don't say ANY spoilers. If there are more than 4 characters that can battle, say YES.
Thanks...

I read in a FAQ (I'm a spoiler whore) that there are more than four characters.

Is this gonna be password style like the Japanese version?
Cause if it isn't i'm gonna have a hard time resisting from playing this if I have not completed Golden Sun 1.

Trust me, don't play the rom. Experience the fun on your GBA. After you beat GS1, there are many awesome things you can do with your saved data in GS1 to GS2. No link cable is needed... You can just get the password and transfer it to your GS2. It's awesome.
Also, thanks Ginkasa. You know, it be better off if you don't read spoilers even if you're a spoiler whore.... It really messes up the game's storyline.

Damn you guys are quick... no matter..
The official word is YES. Just backing up Ginkasa so he might not look like a fool... or... something. He did shrug.
About the spoiling thing... after I learned a lot it didn't really affect my experience with the japanese version. When I say there are four at a time in battle, that's not going to kill you! Who do you think catches up?
*cough*
You would have known from the beginning. It's not really a spoiler. Promises are made in the first chapter. They said it straight.

Actually, I don't know much about the story from GS2. I only got as far as the other four people when I stopped.

No. I haven't been using a rom. I'm just talking about when I get this game and the possibility that i might not be done with it when GS2 comes out.
and I probably could not resist playing GS2.

GS2 comes out next year... So you'll be done with the first one and have plenty of time on your hand. Buy it. You'll regret not buying this game.

I'm not so sure about me being done by then.
I'm not the best of RPG gamers(Lets just say i've never beaten an RPG in my life!).
So it might take me awhile
