Run Lola Run
Wow. I just watched this movie in my Communications Technology class. This movie was absolutely stunning. This movie is a German, but don't worry, there are subtitles so you can read along with what they are yelling. But you know what? I didn't even read the subtitles, and I still new what was going on. So... Whatever.
This movie is about a drug deal which went wrong when Lola was late picking up her boyfriend, Manni, who had 100,000 marks from the deal which he had to give his boss. Manni leaves the money on the train by mistake, and a bum takes the money. So, Manni is outside of a grocery store, and tells Lola that she has 20 minutes to get the money, or he'll ron the bank himself.
So, the movie is about Lola trying to get the money for her boyfriend. I will tell you this : There are three different stories in this movie. Why? Well, you'll see once you watch it. So, if you haven't seen this movie, I highly recommend that you rent it, and if you have seen it, share your thoughts about it here.
And, and this movie is kind of old. I think it was made in 1996 or 1997, and the Sony bought its rights and released it to movie theatres in North America in 1999. As you can see, this movie isn't new or anything, so there have been many people who have seen it before me.
Here is the official website for the movie : http://www.sonypictures.com/classics...unlolarun.html

I saw a similar movie in Health class last week called STONED. It was about a kid who gets into drugs and gets stoned...he got picked on before he got into the drugs, he got some friends...and he even got a girlfriend, but him being stoned one day almost killed he brother, so he quit the drugs. It was prolly made in the early 80's, there was a commercial with luke skywalker...and on another movie in health I saw a super NES commercial...its was pretty neat...SNES in health...

SNES commercial... that's going back a while. I hate how schools can't afford to buy a legit copy of a movie they're showing to hundreds of kids a year, and they just got someone to tape it off the TV years back, and what's worse they don't even cut the friggin' ads! Pure laziness! But I guess, you wouldn't have seen the nostalgic SNES ad then...

Yea I know what you mean...they desprately need to update their Health program...according to the hand-outs they gave us, the average person washes their hair once a week!!!!!!!!
Our teacher even admited that you should wash once a day...but long time ago people didnt wash every day...
but none of this suprises me, because my public school is cheap as hell.

My school was pretty cheap as well. The thing that annoyed me most is when they cranked the volume on an old TV (at least they were colour luckily), and the single speaker was blown (we're talking mono here), any deepish narrator voice would distort like anything, and the high pitches in the cheesy background music would go right through you if you were pretty close to the set. Of course, one of the computing blocks ended up with a pretty decent 68cm TV with 3 stereo AV inputs (I'm pretty sure), probably because all the other sets broke, but I never got to watch that one...

We've had that movie some years ago. I think I've seen snippets of it, it looked cool but the theme didn't suit my parents...

Yeah, the soundtrack is amazing. The director wrote it all himself, too!

Does it sound like 'Juden RAUS!' and 'Wir sind ubermenschen!!'?? If so, you shouldn't listen to it...

Um, does that mean, "Jews out!" "We are God!" ? Yeah, you probably shouldn't listen to music like that....
