If you mean a generic N64-looking and playing archaic shooter then, yes. I played a demo of the Xbox version and, outside of some really inspired cartoony character animation it plays extremely blah. Like, pardon my french, a 6 year old N64 game. Mostly because Free Radical's staff did nothing but Goldeneye (they left while PD was still in development hell).
TS2 won't be better than PD0. At least from the demo it seems to indicate that Free Radical are just not trying very hard with it. The enviroments are looking extremely sparse and, if the one level leaves any indication, it'll revert to a lot of "go hunt for the keycard and unlock the door and get the thing which will lead to another thing which does something else before you're allowed to kill anyone" gameplay. Still. I'll leave my reservations once PD0 emerges and I play Time Splitters 2 some more..... on Xbox
