Aliens!!!1
Well I figured I'd post this here cuz it could use another topic...
Anyways, a couple weeks ago we were watching Lord of the Rings on DVD and my brother takes a smoking break so I go upstairs... But shortly after he calls up the stairs like "Hey Nathan come here! Hurry up!" so I go running downstairs to see, and he points up to the sky and he's like "Hey keep looking around that area and tell me if you see anything... I just saw some blue light just like shoot straight up in the sky"... So I sit there for awhile looking and eventually this blue light appears and it looks to be going sorta straight, but then it starts pulling up and dissapears into the clouds (it wasn't overcast, but there were clouds here and there)... And Jason said that was kinda like the one he saw, only it was quite a bit bigger... Then like now and then other lights (some white) would appear out of nowhere (not from the clouds or nothing, just in the sky), go a ways, then dissapear... But they didn't blink (like plane lights)... they were moving too fast for planes that would be high up in the sky, and they were moving too slow for planes that were very low... BUT they were below the clouds, because you could still see them when they were over a cloud... And we just thought it was weird and we were standing out there for like half an hour just watching them... And then we decide to go back inside and finish the movie (and this was at night, BTW, if ya didn't already know )...
But anyways, I was sitting down at my dad's desk yesterday and I see a newspaper clipping from the Washington Post dated July 27th... And I'm not gonna copy it word for word, but basically it was like... it was around 1AM or so, and people heard very low flying jets (as in fighter jets)... And they ran outside to see what it was, and they said they saw jets chasing a fairly low flying, good-sized, BLUE object... which eventually just like zoomed off...
So the newspaper apparently contacted the military about it, and they confirmed that they had picked up some signal on NORAD or something, tried contacting it by radio, but got no reply... And so they scrambled the jets... but of course, what did they say about the blue object they were chasing? Basically they said that they found nothing, and there was no blue object... And the thing eventually dissapeared from radar...
So anyways I just thought that was kinda interesting and I figured I'd post it here... I didn't hear any stories in the paper about the lights we saw in the sky (which was about a week or so after that story from the washington post, I think)... but meh...
So what do you think? My dad and mom saw the lights too, but it seems like everyone decided they were just planes... They could have been, but I already mentioned why there were like... INCONSISTENCIES with what planes are like

That's some freaky stuff.
I remember about 5 years back, me and my brother were waiting in line for a rollercoaster ride at Canada's wonderland. It was weird, we both were looking up at the same time, and we both saw this dark blue/purple triangle thing in the sky. It was moving fast, and then we couldn't see it any more because some trees were in the way.
But what is even more freaky is that I was watching this show about Giants, and that some people believe that they came from outerspace to creat human life.... Anyways, they showed this video footage of a space ship in the sky that somebody saw, and it was the exact same triangle ship that me and my brother saw!! When I saw it, I was really excited, lol.

Thats coolio! I dont think I have ever seen a flying saucer...but once, back when I was in Cub Scouts, we were at a camp in the winter time, and I was on a top bunk. A window was right next to the bunk. I was like a little awake, and I heard a very high pitched scream of some sort, and looked out my window and saw some white thing not too far from the Cabin. I made sure I wasnt dreaming, I looked away to see if anybody else was awake(I couldnt really tell, it was too dark). And when I looked back, it was gone...

I've been meaning to post this, but havent got around to it, anyways, Wensday night(the 28th), at 9 PM, I was just leaving my friends house (who lives right across teh street) and for some reason, I decided to look up to the sky. Me, and 2 other friends who were also leaving his house all saw it, I was the first to see it though. It looked pretty high up, moving pretty fast, southeast. It was 3 white lights, in the shape of a Triangle. It didnt look like a plane. At least, Ive never seen a plane with lights in the shape of a triangle. Anyways, it flew over the trees and dissapeared from view, but it was strange. Not quite as strange as Deathshands encounter, but still kinda crazy.

You know what, I dont think so. I will have to ask the other people who saw it before I confirm that though. At least, none that I remember being able to hear.

I'm not sure if aliens truely exist. After hubble Telescope was launched they have only found stars and galaxies. Earth is basically the olny planet they found that can support life.
... but what do I know?

Yes, but that's only within the Hubble's range. Space is forever and infinite, the chances of life in only one place in an infinite space is hardly possible.

I coulda sworn I saw some show on one of them channels that shows... y'know... them programs that are like... "We want to actually teach you something while you watch TV"... and it said that like... they sorta examined stuff and how like the planets have to be a certain ways away from the sun... too close, it gets too hot... too far, it gets too cold...
And they were looking at other galaxies, and they found a couple different planets that could possibly be in their galaxy's little magical special area where the planet is in just the right position...
But I dunno...
It's just that Earth being the only planet in the entiiiire universe that can support life sounds very unlikely to me... *shrugs*

About two years ago there was a UFO siting in NJ near where my Grandmother lived. Her preist saw it, and the ewspaper headlines from the "News Tribune" read something like "Unexplained Lights Over Carteret", which is the twon she lived in, also the "Lights" appeared around 1:00 AM, I wonder why UFO's like that time of the evening?
