Default Kill Me... Please...

Quote:
The rumors have finally put to rest, AKI famed developers of the No Mercy and Virtual Pro Wrestling series has been working on the Def Jam Wrestling game published by Electronic Arts. This comes from DefJam.com

Keep an eye out for the upcoming release of the illest fighting game ever produced! The game will feature the hottest artists on the Def Jam roster... Red, Meth, DMX, and Ludacris just to name a few. With a game engine built by AKI, graphics done by EA, and new/exclusive tracks from the artists, game play will be realistic and fluid like nothing you have seen before. Get ready to step into the ring and see if you have what it takes to battle for supremacy against some of Def Jam's finest.

Yet again Def Jam is setting the course and finding new ways to bring the fans what they want, while at the same time expanding on the company's lifestyle philosophy. Kevin Liles, president of Def Jam Recordings, had this to say about the partnership, "Since the video game audience and the hip hop demographic are clearly converging, the partnership between our two brands is a powerful vehicle for our artists and music. Def Jam's collaboration with EA will provide exciting and unprecedented cross-promotional opportunities in both the video game and music industries."

* Def Jam and EA have partnered up to create history: Video game giant EA announes Def Jam Wrestling game featuring Ludacris, Jay Z, DMX and other Def Jam artists. Check it out!

This makes me so angry I want to break EVERYTHING...

Its funny, because this game is going to sell alot of copies.

And I wonder if it was be like you have to grapple, then do a combination of the R&L buttons plus action buttons to do a move. I think that the controlls in this game might be sweet....

If BackYard Wrestling has a decent control scheme, the game will be sweet.

And this game will no boubt have a sweet control layout. So I will probably give it a rent for ****s and giggles.

I blame this on Vince McMahon creating a wrestling monopoly in the US. Let's attack him guys.

NWA:TNA is actually very good. I have caught a couple of the PPV's and the actual wrestling, especially in the X Division, is head and shoulders above the WWE.

True, they have some stupid angles with the bigger guys, but the main draw for me is their excellent X Division. Low-Ki, Christopher Daniels, AJ Styles, Jerry Lynn, Jorge Estrada, the S.A.T.'s (Jose and Jo-El Maximo and the Amazing Red, trained by Mikey Whipwreck I might add) and company are simply the best workers West of the Rising Sun. Incredibly stiff, fast paced matches. They take bumps NO ONE should take.

I highly recommend you check it out.

Up here in Canada I never even had the opportunity to order one of NWA's PPV's until like maybe two weeks ago? Either way, I heard it started off pretty good, then Jerry Jarrett went on about how people don't wanna see whatever he was giving out and they wanted to see wrestling more WWE-esque.

Although I've never seen one of their shows yet, I'd highly recommend it as well considering they have Low Ki, Red, Jerry Lynn, Daniels, and A.J Styles. Plus, MIDGETS!

I think it started to go downhill when Vince Russo was hired. For some reason the term "building an angle" means nothing to him. Everything he does is a hot shot and I HATE IT!!!

But you are correct, the X Division is worth the price of the PPV alone.
