Goldmember Impressions *Spoilers??(at the end)*
Well, I thought it was as good as the other 2 Austin Powers movies. Had alot of comedy. But I think they might've put too many penis jokes/references in the movie. But it was still funny. I would recommend a see. Don't read what website reviewers say, they don't appreciate Austin Powers as well. But go see it, its worth your money. There are alot of surprises and a big shocker near the end. I didn't think Beyonce Knowles should've been chosen as the woman. She didn't seem to fit well, except for the hairdo giving her a 70's feel/look. I hated her "Shazam" and "Shuga" sayings. Annoying. Stop here if you don't want any slight spoilers(?)
*SPOILER??*
I wish they would've given Fat Bastard a larger role(no pun intended) but it was still good that he got enough time in the movie. I also have a few questions. Whatever happened to Felicity? They never mentioned her in the movie(as far as I can remember). And also, what happened to Mr. Bigglesworth and mini Mr. Bigglesworth?
*END SPOILER??*

The movie wasn't that good, IMO. The first two were alot better. This still had good laughs, but the whole gimmick is getting very old.
***SPOILERS***
Ummm..... I do not know what happened to Felicity Shagwell. At the end of part two, they were just partying 60's style in Austin's room. They should have done something... Oh well. More Bond-like with not saying anything.
And about the cats... I have no idea.

I thought it was really funny (^-^
Better than the second one... as for the first, I dunno cuz I havn't seen it all the way through
It had some good new funny stuff, and even the recycled jokes were still funny to me... I guess maybe it's getting old to most people cuz this is the third time they've seen it, whereas this was my second time
So yeah... funny stuffs...

This was surely the best of the three. Fat bastard was way more funny, It dosnt matter if he has a huge role or not.
And DH, I saw Austin 1 three times, and Austin 2 four times. The jokes are still funny.

The director said they cut out 40 min. of the movie because it ran too long, and that they will include it n the DVD when it comes out. All placed where it should go.

I'm going to see it in a week once my girlfriend gets back, I've watched some behind the scenes shat on Comedy Central, and it looks to be really cool.

I also think that this was the best of the three movies.
Very funny and it gave me some good laughs.
Spoilers????
So who else thought the beginning was funny??? Right when you notice that it wasn't really Austin shooting down the helicopter.
I like the movie except for Goldmember. I think they could have come up with a better character than that guy.

IMO it was much better than the first AP, and just short of teh second.
The 2nd movie was consistently funny all the way through.
Goldmember had some of the funniest scenes in the entire trilogy, but there were also a few sow scenes.
Anyways, it was a great movie.

LOS ANGELES (Variety) - "Austin Powers in Goldmember," the third film in actor Mike Myers' spy spoof series, earned a record-breaking $71.5 million during its first weekend at the North American box office, according to studio estimates issued Sunday.
The only other films to open better this year were "Spider-Man" with $114.8 million and "Star Wars: Episode II -- Attack of the Clones" with $80 million.
Among its accolades, "Austin Powers in Goldmember" ranks as the best July opening ever, the best comedy opening, and the best opening for both Myers and the studio, New Line Cinema.
New Line is a unit of AOL Time Warner Inc..
Including $3.5 million from sneak previews Thursday, "Austin Powers" grossed $75 million. Its three-day sum, from Friday to Sunday, ranks fifth on the list of best opening films of all time.

Hm. First post.. excellent way to start!
Anyways I saw it on opening night. From the first 5 minutes I was blown away. I laughed my head off. It just wasn't as shagadelic, but I enjoyed it nonetheless. I loved how...
*spolier*
Fat Bastard when on the Subway diet! That was great.
*end spoiler*
All in all, a highly recommended movie. There were so many funny parts I couldn't remember them all.
