Grand Theft Auto : Vice City WISHLIST

Well, we all know that this game is coming out in the fall. Now, what I want to know is what all of you would like to see in this 80's flick.

I want to see the following :

Police
- police arrest violent people, not just you
- police do not go after you when you are playing the Vigillante missions
- police give you tickets for bumping into them
- police actually arrest you and bring you to the station

Gangs
- do not fire upon you when you are in a vehicle (because how do they recognize you?)
- more missions with each gang
- ability to choose a gang which you want to be with, and wear their colours and do more missions for them
- more gang wars!!!

That is all I can think of now... I'll edit this post when I think of others.

Basically all you said, along with some others like umm... Random bad things happening around town... so you might be driving around and a police car or ambulance goes speeding by trying to get somewhere else or something

And motorcycles... I wanna ride motorcycles

ummm... I dunno...

Oh and Police chasing you while doing vigilante missions still makes sense if you're driving around running over innocent people and blowing up other cars or something (even if it's accidental)... If real cops did that, they'd be arrested to, right?

That would be awesome if they made it so you could choose what gang you're in... and you're appearance would be different depending on which one you are in, and like there would be a number of different gang-related missions that would be different for each gang... And maybe as you like rise up the gang ladder and get more power or something, you could eventually like go to some place and get a few other gang members to follow you and you could run into another gang's territory and have a big shootout or something...

But yeah bye.. I doubt there will be such major additions... maybe GTA4 though

Oh wait, how could I forget! 2 player mode... You could hunt each other down, work together, or just run around and do your own thing...

Oh... one more thing. I think that it would be amazing if you could deal drugs to earn some money on the side. This would be cool, you could like get some drugs, and then go up to random people and ask if they want any. And then the cops can set you up and stuff. Oh, and the cops should list what they arrest you for, and read you your rights.. That would be cool.

Similar to what Joe said in his second post. But just a small add-on to what you said at the end. Have the game keep a record of everything your arrested for. Speeding, killing innocents, wreckless driving, etc.....

motorcycles would kick ass though hehe

moer guns, boats playing a more active role, more gangs, graphics need TONS of improvment, they could have a newspaper, ok im getting carried away heh

Bah the graphics are perfectly fine to me... the GTA series was never big on graphics anyways

I forgot boats playing more of an active role... but hey... it's gonna take place in Miami, I think that's pretty much a given

They need like a boat with a mounted gun on the back so you could be like... BAM!.....

They also need like.. other people driving boats... not a ton, but y'know some out there enjoyin' themselves in their lil' boats!

I wanna be able to fly airplanes or helicopters that are fully functional and don't suck ass.

Being able to go into more buildings and on to more rooftops would be cool too (I always use those to sit around and snipe people and whatnot).

I think the mood of the game that the graphics portrays is perfect.

BUt there should be some improvements in the graphics I think. Firstly to improve on GTAIII, and secondly to make it feel as if it's not just an add on of GTA III.

Either way, I'm sure there will be more goodies. MOre radio stations. More variety (even though there is more than enough). That would be nice. I love just cruising listening to music.

Hey guys whatta think about the police if the have K9 Dog units wouldn`t that be awesome?

You should be able to slit peoples throats
Some kind of blade weapon
Take people hostage
New civilians like Mailman,Jahova Witnesses,Paper Boy,ETC
Motor Cycles
Planes
Choppers all usable
Be able to enter Banks,Bars,Police Sation,Hospital,Casino,ETC
New kinds of Bombs like package bombs
ETC

1. I wish the police would arrest all of the other criminals in town.

2. I hope that there will be more weapons to choose from. GTA 3 had a nice weapon selection, but there's always room for improvement.

3. It would be nice if you could swim.

4. Um, a few more missions would be nice. Seventy-six just doesn't cut it.

5. There should be more than three locales.

The gang-choice thing seems to be the best idea. That would be sweet. You have total freedom of which gang you work for and it affects how you look, what you drive, who likes and doesn't like you, etc.

Doubt it will happen in vice city though...

Personally, I want to be able to drive whatever I feel like stealing at any given point in time...
