Default Top 10 fav/most memorable wrestling moments

Just as the title says, try making a list of at least ten.

10. Flair lasting the whole '92 Rumble
9. Steve Austin passing out from pain with blood flowing down his face like a pig... with blood flowing down it's face...
8. First ladder match on WWF PPV
7. Nash ends Goldberg's streak
6. Every nWo beat-down (especially the one one on David Flair- it lasted through about eight commercials, and the one on Goldberg when the Wolfpac reformed)
5. nWo taking over Nitro
4. Hogan's finger-poke of doom
3. Hogan joining the nWo
2. Montreal screwjob
1. Hart Foundation winning the ten man tag at Canadian Stampede and the whole Hart family (like 40 of them) celebrated in the ring

I probably forgot a lot that should be on that list, but here are some honourable mentions:

-Nash and Hall showing up on Nitro
-ECW reforming on Raw
-Bret going off on one of his interviews swearing like a ****er
-TLC 1
-Nash throwing Mysterio into the trailor backstage at Nitro
-Steiner beating up eight cruiserweights
-Kurt Angle's interview about Canada in Vancouver ("We are celebrating Memorial Day in USA today... We have barbecues, but Canadians can't have barbecues, because you'd probably be attacked by a moose or a grizzly bear. You'd probably be attacked by a grizzly, it's true... On second though, the Grizzlies don't beat ANYBODY here in Vancouver!"
-Flair Woooooooing on WWF TV once again
-Mr. Perfect out-cockying Austin and Triple H, then while getting double teamed by them, finds time to spit his gum out and swap it away
-Torrie Wilson in the nWo
-nWo carrying around Canadian flags before Bret came to WCW
-Bret vs Owen (WM X or SS '94 Cage match- Just for the sheer goodness of them)
-Bret Hart making the best, most true interview ever right here in Edmonton Alberta! (Wearing an Oilers jersey goes off on the Americans)
-Seeing Bret Hart's kid get to play with Sunny
-Seeing Chris Benoit vs Steve Austin LIVE on LOVE Smackdown, LIVE!
-Chris Jericho's WWF debut
-Chris Jericho's 'man of 1004 holds' promo
-Foley's sick bumps at the HIAC at KOTR '98
-Jarret giving Edge the sharpshooter on the memorial Raw and pointing up to the sky
-Goldberg spearing Bret Hart only to get knocked out by Bret's steel plate
-Bret Hart vs Chris Benoit in WCW- All three times
-Benoit winning the Super J Cup '94
-Vince McMahon publically buying WCW
-Russo shooting on Hogan
-Earl Hebner leaving an event in Toronto because of all the fans chanting "YOU SCREWED BRET! YOU SCREWED BRET!"
-Vince McMahon talking like an evil son of a bitch turning his chair over to eveal the nWo symbol on the back

10-This is Your Life Rock.. By far one of the single funniest promos ever.
9- Shawn Michaels 95 Rumble win.. I mean he held onto the ropes and waited till he oppenent wasn't looking.. Everyone has tried since but there is only one HBK.. also the fact that him and the Bulldog were the first two in and the last 2 in
8- Either Iron Man Match.. I don't care who fought in it.. but to go out there for an hour and do nothing but fight.. takes skill and stamina
7-Rock vs HHH on SmackDown in 99...People's Elbow..into the Sweet Chin Music..Rock got screwed big time and it was golden
6-Hogan's Finger Poke of Doom and HHH's Knockdown from hell.. I mean the matches were nothing but those moments were funnie as hell.. HHH ran around the ring for like 2 mins well HBK was out.
5- Hart vs Austin @ wm 13.. Not one of my favorite WrestleMania but a great match..period
4-nWo and DX..two factions that redefined what it meant to be a group...
3-The Rock acting like some of the former WWF greats... I mean it was a funnie as hell promo.. the first time around
2-DX skits of the nation and The Corpotion.. The Crock was golden
1-Any WrestleMania where Austin,Hart or Michales came out champ had atleast one great match.

(In no particular order)

10. HBK and Bret Hart - Iron Man Match at Wrestlemania
9. Bret Hart getting screwed in Montreal (One of the sickest things I ever watched.... ok maybe seeing Vince's ugly @$$ was a whole lot worse than that )
8. Hell in a Cell - Foley vs. The Undertaker (That was just plain brutal)
7. When nWo imitated the 4 Horseman (One of the funniest things I've seen in wrestling. They even dressed like them too.)
6. Bret vs. Austin at Wrestlemania 13
5. "Hogan's Finger Poke of Doom and HHH's Knockdown from hell.. I mean the matches were nothing but those moments were funnie as hell.. HHH ran around the ring for like 2 mins well HBK was out." (BreakABone) Agreed
4. Hogan vs. The Ultimate Warrior at Wrestlemania
3. Shane doing the elbow drop from the top of the Titantron (That was crazy)
2. Hogan joining the nWo
1. Bret Hart winning the WWF title for the first time against Ric Flair (Before that I never thought they'd ever let a Canadian win the Heavyweight title)

Vince turning around in his chair to reveal nWo written on the back definitely is my favorite moment in the past few months.

How ironic that my playlist just started playing nWo's music on Morpheus right now... Heh.

Anyhoo, I agree with pretty much everything everyone else put, too. And to add a kinda crappy one compared to the others, Mick Foley "IT DOESN'T MATTERing" The Rock and running around the ring to chants of "FOLEY! FOLEY! FOLEY!"

Finally somebody with some sense around here. You should see the IGN board, there's like eighteen thousand topics for this loser.

Anyhoo, I gotta say that yesterday's Raw was one of the funniest things I've ever seen. After Jericho beats Maven, Rollin' comes on and you knew it was gonna be sweet. Undertaker then walks slowly into the ring, puts on his beating gloves and proceeds to kick the hell outta Maven, all made better by Jericho's hilarious commentating. "The only thing better than this is when I kicked the hell outta Maven." And I love Undertaker's chair-to-throat-throw-onto-floor thingy.

I'd pay big money to see an angle where Undertaker just keeps doing this over and over for a long time.

Yeah, that chait to neck to floor thingy was quite cool. Looked like it hurt alot too.

Too bad nWo didn't show up... I wish they did. Oh well, I guess Vince knows what he is doing...

It looked even better when he did the chair thingy to Matt Hardy though.

Andddddd 1)Vince usually doesn't know what he's doing, I wouldn't just assume so but...

2)He's playing this particular angle to perfection.

Sure, I would have loved to see Nash or Hall show up on Raw, but this is a lot better than that. Nobody gace a damn about nWo before yesterday's Raw... Pretty much EVERYONE on the internet wasn't interested, not the fans, not the "insiders" like Meltzer, not very many people. Sure, the ratings were bound to go up a bit, and people did make sure to see Raw and whatnot because seeing Nash or Hall on TV again would just be a site to see whether you liked them or not. But there wasn't much story, and although some, not enough interest. Ratings show that more people have tunied into Smackdown and Raw than usual, so why bring nWo in now when you're getting the anticipation ratings already? It was only the last show (I won't refer to Sunday Night Heat, Jakked, Metal, or Exess as a "show" in this post...) that this nWo angle even started.

This is supposed to be one of-if not THE-biggest angle in WWF history. And it could be. They shouldn't just milk it as much as they could, they should let it progress for what is good money as well as great for the fans. Lots of the WWF fans don't even know who the nWo are. Some are just WWF marks who wouldn't know, some are too young to know, and some have just started watching wrestling. They should make these people aware of who the nWo are and why they're such a threat to the WWF. They have to make it seem like they're a legit threat, something they didn't do for WCW in the first "Invasion" and look how that piece of **** turned out. The King and JR really played up nWo as a group who can kill the WWF. Ric Flair really played that up, too. Vince McMahon did.

The whole Ric Flair/Vince promo on Raw single handedly made people care about this nWo angle, and had nWo showed up yesterday, we probably wouldn't have seen this. By showing that sweet ass video, and reminding us and Vince of all that Vince did for his company, and Vince STILL saying he'd bring in the nWo if Flair didn't leave really makes you think that nWo is that damn important. It also gace the WWF the opportunity to show that the nWo (during the video it showed this) was so deadly in WCW, and was the reason WCW beat WWF in ratings for so long.

Anyhoo, there are already vignettes including Hogan, Hall, and Nash that are supposed to be aired every week until NWO 2K, and one's even out on the internet. They're building this up, and that's the right way to go. I dunno about you guys, but I know that I wanna watch every single wrestling show (like always, but for a diffeent reason) because I WANT more. I WANT to see what happens next, and that's great booking by WWF I must admit.

That's my opinion, and I think so far WWF is doing a perfect job on this angle, something they rarely do. Imagine if nWo would have showed up on Raw... There would have been ZERO days of build-up, lots of people wouldn't have a clue what was going on, we wouldn't be waiting in as much anticipation as now, and we wouldn't have seen that great video.

Maven is nowhere NEAR ready for any kind of push in the WWF. It takes years to become a polished professional wrestler. They should keep him in OVW (or HWF, I forget which) for abouyt a year or two more and let him develop a gimmick, some moves (I think his ONE MOVE is the dropkick), and a personality. Then maybe he'll be ready for the bigtime.

I know Kurt Angle made it big in 1 year, but he is an olympic gold medalist. Believe it or not a amateur background does help in a big way.

But the Strangler, I think (I dunno actually, WWF isn't all that bright it seems) WWF knows that. But, they also have to put him on TV a few times, it was on his contract for winning Tough Enough, and seeing as how Tough Enough 2 is right around the corner, it obly makes sense to showcase their Tough Enough 1 winner getting a good TV spot. Besides, I'm willing to bet that what happened yesterday was WWF;s way to keep Maven out of WWF (from the "injury" he got when Taker did the throat-to-chair move) and in OVW to improve.
