Crazy thought
What if a forum member were to die? How would we find out about it? Where there any big forum members to disappear without a trace or a reason?

Not that I know of.
But yes, that would be weird. I guess the only way we would know about it is if a family member of that person knew about this site, and posted that the member died.
Or, somebody might notice the person's name in the paper, or something. Although I only know a couple members' full names.
But yeah, that would be weird. Just like, not seeing somebody online for a long time...

I've thought about that for quite some time, but always forgot to post it! Seriously!
I was wondering... what if I died? Perhaps some of you would think 'Hey I'm missing something... hey Angrist? Oh well... probably left like he's been saying for years he would'. Perhaps someone would send me an e-mail or something. But would my parents know about this site? And would they have the guts to post here with all the sorrow they have? (and they'd have a lot j/k)
In my case, my bro knows I always go here, so he might be smart enough...
Sometimes you think about members that you haven't seen for months or even years. Perhaps they're dead...

Simple, keep a piece of paper on you at all times. Then when you die, people will find it and know who to notify.
Or hell, a will works, except who wants to deal with that?

I guess someone was right. There seems to be an abundace of death threads lately. The best way(for me at least) is to have a little safe or something and put all the sites/Screen Names/Password on paper(s) and then put in your will the safe code or put a spare key somewhere. And then when the time comes, they can do all the work for ya
