Dunno about the Mother 3 part I'm pretty sure FFU with be the Square RPG.

EDIT: BTW there's also rumors of Square's RPG being a Chrono title.

Actually if it were Chrono Cross part 2 I wouldn't mind.

What's FFU? Unlimited?

I never played "Mother" so I dunno about that game very much.

But I hope the GC doesn't get a dodgy Square game.........like The Bouncer

"Mother" is just Earthbound, I tink. Anyway, a Chrono game would be great, I just need to play CC now to see what that was about. I doubt it is as good as CT though...

I think Earthbound was Mother 2 but I'm not entirely sure.

Hmm Chrono Cross 2? I played 10 min of Chrono Trigger if that helps...

Well I think it depends on how you look at it, if you expect CC to be a full CT sequel then you might be dissapointed, but it still has many things from CT, and is a very awesome game anyway.

As for a new Chrono game on GCN, I guess it doesnt really matter, but I'd rather play it on my PS2...

And I wonder if this Mother 3 will be Earthbound 64 just brought over to GCN. (remember Earthbound 64 that looked really good but got cancelled? ) Anyway, I hope they make a new Earthbound game...it'd be nice for GCN to have a really good RPG.

Yay!

I get to tell the story of Mother.

Earthbound, as we call it here in the states, was released on the SNES.

But previous to that, there was another "Mother" game on the NES that was released in Japan and not in the US. Now the game was translated and everything, but they decided not to market it in the US. The prototype cartridges that were translated were auctioned off (there were only 2 or 3).

It was discovered by a couple of ROM Dumpers discovered that the game existed in a translated state, so they payed $500 to get it copied onto a computer. Thus you can download it on your computer on many ROM websites (which ones I'll not disclose).

Now, many of us hardcore Mother players are disappointed that the game didn't make it here. We're also upset that Mother 3 for N64 wasn't released.

So the prospect that the game (or a new one) might be released is very exciting

Anyway.. That's my bit.
