Angry A Port of Sonic Adventure!

I could understand porting Sonic Adventure 2 as it was less than a year old when it was released, but Sonic Adventure 1. That game launched with the DC back in 99 almost 3 frigging years ago. I hope they include a whole lot more to get people to buy it. And take a lot out like Big Cat levels argh those were dumb.

On the brighter side, there is the Sonic Mega Collection. I mean come on who can't get excited over the prospect of playing all the Genesis Sonic and maybe some others on one CD for your GCN. That is godly. Maybe with spruced up graphics like Sonic Advance.

Which reminds me Sonic Advance 2 was also announced for the GBA.

Edit:Also forgot the link

I hate SA1... Sonic's levels were OK, but I hated the final boss, and the other characters sucked (well from what I played they did)...

The only good thing is that it will probably be very cheap... maybe 20 bucks or so like the RE ports... so for people who will like the game and didn't get a DC, it will be a nice lil' value of bundle of joyfulness and happy rainbows....

This is a bummer. Although the mega collection sounds interesting, I wont even give sonic adventure a look. After all, I beat it on DC...

Cool. I loved SA1. That game ownz! Hopefully they'll improve the graphics a tad, and maybe add some extra stuff. Maybe with a few online features, like the old SA website where you could download the special chao, and I wouldn't mind doing kart racing online.

Oh ya, and as long as you're porting games to Cube, I have a wish list:

NiGHTS
Samba de Amigo
Samba de Amigo ver. 2000
Seaman
Outtrigger
Chu Chu Rocket
And the Sega Smash Packs.

If they port Samba wouldn't they also need to re-release those sticks?

I say they could add several features to Sonic Adventure:
-A Better Camera
-More Sonic and Tails' levels
-More to the storyline, I believe there are parts where Choas just skips growth
-More multiplayer options. I mean Sonic Adventure 2 had the Kart racing and stuff. This game could have
*Races with the same characters and you can add Tails since he ain't stuck in that mech thingy
*Airplane races, I actually like the plane Tails' drives in the game kind of like the one from Sonic the Hedgehog 2
*Make some of the time trails multiplayer like the Snow race and the Sand one
*Expand the Kart Racing Level
-Improved Chaos Raising more in the vein of SA 2
-Hints of Shadow existance
-more boss battles maybe

The game is fun IMO, but it needs work. One thing I give it much much much more credit for over SA 2 is the plot. I mean the plot is finely laid out and unlike SA2 you actually get to see the final boss develop

I'll add more for the Mega Collection later

I didn't like SA1... but if it is faster and more visually stunning like SA2 I may have to check this out.

As for the Sonic collection game, if it has Sonic 3 (my fav game) or Sonic and Knuckles, this game is a must buy for me

The maracas, yes. But they got Shakkato Tambourine coming for PS2, so why not?

*drool* And to think I was trying to buy Sonic and Knuckles just yesterday. Well I do play Sonic 2 & 3 almost everyday, but never did play 1 or beat Sonic 3D Blast and Sonic and Knuckles. Better have it be able to connect to the other games.

I still play Sonic 3 too (even though I have Super Sonic and it makes the game hella easy now)

Sonic 1 is good, but methinks Sonic 2 killed it off, then Sonic 3 killed them both off.

They better have a backwards compatible thing with the Chao(as they did with SA1 and Sa2). But this time, allow the whole damn chao to be transferred! Not just a friggin egg! But they better spruce this game up a fair amount, since they somehow seem keen on wanting to release it. dumba$$es

Mesa so confused. Now, it is being stated that the Sonic Adventure for the Cube is an all new title and not a port of SA 1 as previously thought. With all this confusion, I'm guessing that this Sonic Mega Collection may just be a port of SA 1 with Sonic Jam which would be about the size of a GCN disc.

http://gamespot.com/gamespot/stories...872973,00.html

According to a representative from Sega of America, the game will be a brand-new addition to the franchise instead of a remake of the original Sonic Adventure for the Dreamcast, as was first suspected.

the company also announced three new Sonic The Hedgehog titles including "Sonic Mega Collection(TM)" and a new "Sonic Adventure(TM)" game for Nintendo GameCube and Sonic Advance(TM) 2" for GameBoy Advance.
A new Sonic Adventure game doesn't mean a port.

Although, Sonic Adventure could be included in the mega collection. You never know...

Well, originally all over the place, it didn't mention a new Sonic Adventure game. At least I don't think it did. But Im just damn happy its a new game and not another port.
