Question Burning DivX files to play on DVD player

I heard that you put the file in the MPEGAV folder. But then the option to write isn't there nor when you put in the VCD folder.

How exactly would I go about burning a movie to play in a dvd player?

With Nero all you have to do is drag and drop it in the track area. No need to put in MPEGAV or VCD folder. The DVD player reconizes it as a VCD and it plays. But when you set it for video (to become a VCD) it won't play on your computer...well, there's a probably a way but I don't know of it.
