Well, for this summer, I am working in a lab. MIT's Whitehead Institute to be exact. The project I'm working on is (basically) trying to identify the genetic basis for multiple sclerosis. It's really exciting stuff combining statistics, neurology, immunology and a bit of computer programming into the mix. The amount of work to be done is incredible, and so are the potential rewards.

Which is why you guys aren't going to be seeing much of me for a while. I don't have an assigned computer here, and my time is going to be scarce anyway. The home I'm at is on dial-up, and I don't want to run up the phone bill by surfing the net too much. There definitely isn't going to be anymore looking at gaming news for me. About the most I can do is send a few e-mails and post the occasional fanfic chapter.

Speaking of fanfics (hey, you knew it was coming), I'm still going to be writing them. I have access to a computer without an internet connection. I just have to write the chapters on that computer and transfer them to another computer with a connection later. Watch my signature. When my site launches, I'm going to have a lot of stuff for you.

In the meantime, this is going to be my last post in 3 months (good thing I'm not a mod anymore). I'll only be able to check in sporadically to update my signature, and I definitely won't be reading any posts in here. If you want to contact me, send me a PM or e-mail me at xantar1@hotmail.com.
