I haven't played all of those, but here are some of our favorites:

Excite Bike 64 (Lefty's Mill over and over again baby!)
F-Zero X
Perfect Dark (vs bots because my friends could not stand the competition)

Local multiplayer was at its peak during the N64 age. Why, because the games were more fun or because we don't visit friends that much anymore?

Ah, then I would probably add Perfect Dark for the N64, Phantasy Star Online Episode I and II, and Borderlands.

Nintendo have always dominated local multiplayer. Not much different here

I would like to add the FIFA games here (well, any sports game will work), and the DKC games.

DKC may not have "competitive" multiplayer, but I remember having a lot of fun playing it with my brother at the time..

And I really loved the Banjo-Tooie music during the kitten-head Goldeneye part
