Spiderman: Shattered Dimensions
I thought there was a thread for this but, maybe not.
Anyway the game comes out on tuesday of next week and I'll be picking up for sure. I'm pretty stoked about the release because A) Spiderman is my favorite super hero, and B) It's something super sweet. I mean do you see those different versions of spidey? Most stoked about NOIR spidey, but I mean, Ultimate spidey has always been my fave. Darkness inside the spider baby!
I can only hope that this game ends up being amazing, and that after that they finally get the balls to create a great xmen game. I'm so glad that Batman:AA was an amazing game. It opened up the doors for this kinda thing.
Now... If the game ends up being shit... Well. Yeah. I'll go back to my corner and be emo.

Re: Spiderman: Shattered Dimensions
Game is Fun as hell.
Each spider is pretty different.
Amazing spidey is a lot about swinging around, jumping, speeding around, dodging stuff. General Spidey goodness.
2099 Spidey is all about being a hardass in combat. He has the flashiest moves and the sweetest combos.
Ultimate Spidey is really similar to Amazing spidey. However he has Rage mode, is slightly darker, and so far has probably the best boss fights.
Noir spidey reminds me heavily of Arkham Asylum. Stealth takedowns so much, and crawling in the dark. I felt mostly like I was playing a really dark version of AA. Enjoyable, and the art style is fun. So I'll accept this shameless copy of batman's stealth.
Overall I think the game is awesome. The dialogue is great, the art is great, the fighting system is a lot of fun. Tons of stuff to do, I enjoy the stage select format, and the fact that I can choose which spidey to play as when I want to.
It's not as good as AA, but aside from AA, there's no other comic game that tops it.
