Here are the two movies of each companys press conference:
Microsoft:
High Bandwith | Low Bandwith
Nintendo:

Please watch both conferences all the way through and then vote on the poll. After you vote on the poll also please explain why you voted that way.

MICROSOFT BY FAAAAAAAAAR
The Nintendo one consisted of mostly a few really boring loser talking about stuff I don't care about...
The Microsoft one kicked ass...I could understand eveything they said!

Well. I now finished watching both conferences and I must say Microsoft did have the better overall one. Much more intersting and kept my interest the longest.
Also, if you vote please post why you voted that way.

I frankly can't understand them. And I'm asking everyone to explain why they voted the way they did and that they watched both videos. So far no one has explained except for Stu and I.

Nintendo's was much more professional, being directed towards the business people. Microsoft's is more kid-oriented, being directed to teen gamers. Personally, I think the business style is better suited for an E3 press confrence, since it consists of many business execs, company owners, etc.
As a gamer, I'd much rather sit through Microsoft's. But as a journalist, I'd rather sit though Nintendo's, because they get to the point, and don't spend all their time trying to hype up the system too much, which is pointless to the journalists, and developers sitting in the audience.
I vote Nintendo though, cause I think they did a better job cutting the crap, and getting to the point.

I agree and disagree on some of your points.
I think Nintendo's conference was directed to younger gamers. I mean you do remember seeing the Animal Crossing segment. Those kids must have been 10, 8, and 6 years of age. But I do believe each had a equal showing of mature vidoegames, maybe a few more for Microsoft though. I also noticed on some parts Nintendo almost seemed to defend themselves on being 'kid aimed.'
Nintendo's was professional, but I enjoyed Microsoft's much more because it kept my attention with all the flash and graphical effects. I also found the first opening talker for the Nintendo press conference extremely boring, although he stated a lot of facts. He just wasn't a very interesting talker. The Japanese person that followed him was alright, but he was at times hard to understand.
*Waits for other two people who voted for Nintendo to explain their reasoning*

Well, nintendo is kinda forced to defend their system. It's not like the whole "kiddy system" thing has stopped, I still see it everywhere.

I think nintendo did a better job of explaining the current and future standings/focus for gamecube.
