GT's Most Embarrassing Gaming Moments

Well I am here to pose a question for you guys here on GT.

What is your most embarrassing gaming moment?

This could be anything from dying on the first Goomba in Super Mario Bros., to falling in a pit, blowing yourself up, or being in a Smash tournament and losing because your opponent kept spamming the gun attack for the final kill (AHEM I'm looking at you, you know who you are).

I'll start!

I was playing the single-player campaign for Uncharted 2 on Crushing difficulty, and I was running around with my trusty pistol and M32 Hammer in the Tibetan monastery. I thought for a second I was still holding a shotgun that I had on me not a few moments before, and I blindfired two grenades into someone that was literally right in front of me, killing me at the same time.

Ain't no shame in it, if you are on the end firing the gun.

Skip ahead to 1:45, nothing can get worse than dying on the first goomba while live demo-ing your own game.

There was this one time where I was playing Aliens vs Predator (the first FPS) in our living room. One of the neihbour kids was over, he was like 8 years old. I was playing as Alien and didn't know he was watching when I decapitated a human with one slash. Blood was everywhere. So suddenly I heard "Hoooo! .... " behind me.

I'm afraid I might have traumatized him for life.

Earl ill say yours for you.
On the last level of Halo 3 when we all had to make it to the end while in ghosts and with the iron skull on(when one person dies it reverts to the last checkpoint for everyone) and you died more than 30 times. But I suppose that was embarrassing for me too.

But my most embarrassing moment would have to be not having played Half-Life 1 yet.

I'm not sure what my MOST embarrassing moment is. I, one time, was playing SS and I was the guy telling everyone what to do and how to play and a ball got popped up to me and I caught it but it bounced out of my glove and onto the ground. Very embarrassing.

Softball. That's a game, right? This isn't just video games, right?

I think most embarrassing would have to happen in multiplayer games, as there would have to be somebody to see it

So here's mine.

I was playing MW2 recently, and snuck up behind a sniper. I couldn't decide how to kill him, thought that I should semtex his head or something. Before I could do anything, he got up and killed me. I was speechless

i was playing farcry (pc), and in the forest one of the creatures came out of nowhere. i didn't expect anything like that, so i got sceared and... "eeeeek!!"... bube and our cousin heard it and laughed at me.

Heh, not as good as what I heard from some guy. He was playing Aliens vs Predator with a headset on. When a face-hugger got him, he got so scared that he threw his headset on the floor.

When I got FFX back in 2002, I'd typically play it in my room by myself. Well, one day my mom decided to be social and started watching me play..at a really horrible/embarrassing part:

My most embarrassing gaming moment was basically this:

I play guilty gear. Anyway back a few years ago when the game was at its peak I beat in tournament one of the best players in the US. I didn't just beat him I thoroughly raped him.

My next match was literally against this terrible guy who I had beaten many times before. Someone being so cocky, and just coming off this huge win, I lost to the scrubbiest motherfucker in the tournament.

I found out later that it was the first time he had ever won a match in a tournament.

The only saving grace was I went on to get 4th in the tournament, but I spent the entire day being made fun of by all my friends. The worst was at lunch time. :s

95% of the time I play Smash Bros or Mario Kart with Dylflon, his brother, and our friend I end up losing, or ultimately not winning.

It's not so much embarrassing, rather a complete black hole that only eats up fun after a while.
