GreatBrewers.com has created a beer-food pairing simulator that's quite thorough. I'm not much a gourmand myself, as I pretty much eat and drink for sustenance and to achieve a state of drunken belligerence, but hopefully this is something useful to you all.

This is pretty amazing actually. I've wondered a lot what the "proper" beer and food pairings are. My usual conclusion is just that beer goes with anything, and I think that's true, but this might help with the taste buds a little bit more.

Anyway, this should be a "Beer you are currently drinking" thread. For me it is...

I am currently having a beer despite being 11:41am, it's odd not to watch football without one.
