Leviathan definately. My brother owns a pretty good SF book about it (also titled Leviathan). About people who want to prove its existence or something, I need to read it.
Anyway, I like gryphons... but they're not as cool as the Leviathan.

I vote leviathan because the Gryphon could only have beaten the Kraken if this contest was wrigged and it should not be in the final. The Kraken's underling must therfore fight the good fight, it could devour entire flocks of Gryphon's.
