It was so weird. Just came up totally out of the blue. I'm going to try turning it on later tonight, and hopefully it will work, but I doubt it.

Same thing happened to me
Xbox froze up a couple of times, then it just stopped turning on.
Granted had RR0D 3 times now so... use to it

Interestingly, mine RRoD'd with 2 red lights. Made a sound a like a vacuum for 2 weeks, then turned itself off mid-game.. Never saw the 3rd light

Each level of light is a different type of malfunction
I believe 4 Red Rings is video cable not being hooked up properly.
1 is Harddrive problem/failure.
3 is death.
Forgot what 2 is.
