Zero Punctuation: Resident Evil 5
Funny and crude, but true.

You haven't played the final game!
Though, I do agree with him, it doesn't really feel like an RE game. Decent controls aside.

Hunh, the first Zero Punctuation I've liked. I didn't laugh, but I agreed with everything. I only played the demo and I'm still not sold.
Capcom's really fallen behind now.

Re: Zero Punctuation: Resident Evil 5
Couldn't get into the demo yet I liked RE4 so I bought this game. Enjoyed it thoroughly.
Never played it single player but I have heard bad things

Re: Zero Punctuation: Resident Evil 5
My main complaint is single player with the partner AI. I'm playing the game on veteran mode and it's unnecessarily more difficult because of your partner, haha.

Re: Zero Punctuation: Resident Evil 5
The single player sucks ass, but the coop play rocks. they should probably just go back to having one character by themselves, because you definitely lose that isolation factor. And yeah the inventory was a pain sometimes, but I understand the design behind it, because it's real-time and all.
Yeah, overall RE4 is better than RE5, but RE5 is still very good.

I didn't mind the inventory too much, what I wish I did know was some of the shorthand I found out recently.
Like you can combine items with the same trick you use to move items around. You can quickly equip something in the menu by using the aim (RT on 360) button and well I knew about the D-Pad quick select.
And it wasn't so much the isolation factor as it was the huge action pieces you fought everywhere. There were tims in RE 4 where you would explore an area... find pieces to open a door and so forth before you got ambush.
Pretty much in RE 5, you could expect to get ambush and hardly had time to explore.

Re: Zero Punctuation: Resident Evil 5
I think I heard some developer talking about that. They usually give you time to explore the area before you're attacked in it. Ah I remember, that was in the downloadable Half-Life 2 level, with developer's commentary.
