Default After Watchmen...what's next?

Unlike with Dark Knight, DC Comics is doing a fine job of trying to get folks who picked up Watchmen because of the film to look into some of their other books:

Haha, but no, in all seriousness, word on the street is they want to take Fantastic Four and reboot it into a serious, gritty action hero film following the success of Dark Knight and Watchmen.

Personally, I think it's too soon and I think they would need to replace the cast.

Maybe in about 4-5 years?

Pretty good read.

And they better not screw Thor up.

The grittyness of Dark Knight was what made it an excellent film. I haven't seen The WATCHMEN yet but from what I hear it captures the feeling of Moore's brooding contemplative characters pretty well. I am all for camp every now and then but some characters are just dark, and the WATCHMEN characters fit that description to a T.

Speaking of WATCHMEN anyone hear anything about Tuesday's WATCHMEN: Tales of the Black Freighter DVD? The marketing company I work for is doing an campaign for it but no free DVD for me

I know I'll be grabbing a copy of it on Tuesday just because it's set in that weird alternate costumed super hero populated world that Alan Moore made popular in the 80's.
