So as most of you didnt know, I had been gone for the past week "vacationing" on Vancouver Island. Me and my family, along with relatives went to Qualicum, rated to have the highest density of old people in B.C., perhaps even in Canada. I didnt mind that there are lot of old people there because I could just ignore them and I was told we would be staying in a cabin somewhat close to a beach.
Day 1
What the hell crap is this.

These arnt cabins, they're tool sheds in the middle of a fucking trailer park, and to get to the beach you have to cross a highway. Its not even that good of a beach! The sad thing about these cabins is that these were the
deluxe cabins. Id hate to see what the others were like. I spent the rest of the day getting acquainted with the general area I would be spending the next week in.
Day 2
Nothing to exciting today. Strolled around the trailer park trying to find something to amuse myself with. I came across what appeared to be a man made pond that had been left unattended for a while and the water had gone green and scum had begun developing on the bottom. I then realized that this was a swimming pool. I didnt go swimming that day.
Day 3
I was woken up by a crow this morning, but it wasnt a normal crow. This crow had a birth defect or something because it didnt make the gentle cawing of a crow. It just made an annoying squeaky sound as if it was dying a horrible death. It was just walking around on the roof doing this for about an hour. After that we went out and drove around at a cool 40km/h because we were stuck behind an old man. After I passed him I discovered that the speed limit was 80km/h for just about every road I went on, except when passing through a town where it slows down to 60, which is still faster than what im aloud to go back on the mainland.
Day 4
We went to a beach today, and as I was furiously digging a hole in the sand, I cut my finger on a clam buried in the ground. After washing the sand out of my cut in salty water I crushed the clam under my foot and gave it to a crab. After the beach we went to Coombs, which is mainly just a giant tourist attraction, but they do have goats on the roofs.

Day 5
Went to a different beach today, cut myself on a clam again. I was walking around in the water when my dad says "catch!", and throws a small dark object at me, and as a reflex, I caught it. I opened my hand to find a little crab with large claws pinching the hell out of my palm. The little bastard did not want to let go, it had a death grip on me. I finally flailed it loose and threw it back at my dad, where it proceeded to do nothing and crawled of into the water.
Day 6
By far the best day of this trip despite waking up at 3:30 in the morning, burning my thumb and sitting around for 5 hours. I went fishing with my 2nd cousin who is south african but is living in London with his family. We went on a charter and 15 mins after the lines were put in the water 3 fish had hit 4 of the lines that were out. I grabbed one of the rodes and the fish almost ripped it right out of my hands. My thumb was on the reel so when the fish pulled away the friction generated by the fish line burnt the hell out of my thumb but I caught the fucker. It was a big fish.

28 pounds, delicious too. And that was it for the rest of the day. No other bites. Not even a nibble.
Day 7
Its time to go home, finally, after a week of this tool shed trailer park crap I was glad to leave. Off to the ferries I go.
