This is the place for you to state your origins/background/where your power come from.

Some details will be placed into the story itself while there will be dedicated issues/threads to an origin tale. I have some ideas in my head as always, but let's see em.

Was working on a project for the military developing a strong, reusable material that can be shaped and used for a number of things. Got locked into the test chamber before experiments with the materials reaction to gamma radiation were taken . OH NOS!!!!!!!!!!!!!! SUPER POWERS!!!!!!!!!!!

Im's a clones. Created as soldiers to form an army. The cloning process is difficult and one slight gene displacement can create a defective/rouge soldier which must be terminated immediately before it can influence others. A powerful force to be reckoned with but have no "powers". Cloning has gone according to plan thus far and things look good for future cloning...

During a luxurious vacation through the Africa, a mysterious and old witch doctor asked me for some spare change. I shrugged him off and continued upon my exquisite journey. As I walked away from him, he began chanting an ancient spell. That night, he came to me in a dream and told me what he had done. He said I could enter anyone's dream. And he said the decision to cause them harm or good-will was my choice. Angered by his curse, I haunted people in their dreams and caused them harm and pain.

I was an orphan that was raised by a community of hippies. Due to my unique upbringing, I'm am the definition of a pacifist wrapped in human flesh. I got involved in various sob-story causes, which eventually led to political connections. Thanks to a healthy law-suit against the state over an illegal cannabis raid at my place of residence, money isn't something I worry about anymore. Most people underestimate me because they think I'm just a stoner with some cash, but distributing the weed gives me power over the streets.

My power is subtle, but effective. The power of suggestion. If I make a suggestion to somebody during physical contact, they have a powerful voice that reminds them of the suggestion anytime they consider acting against it. It can be ignored, but it's difficult.

I come from a small fishing island located just off of Norway's coast where I've spent my entire life living in and beside water. I was born with Viking's Luck, so things go my way. I moved to Canada after I finished my entirely-free post-secondary education in Scandanavia. I'm a B.A., an M.A., and a B.M.F. besides.

I turned evil when I watched the movie "Into the Wild." I could not possibly understand how such a person could WANT to meet so many people and break their hearts and live in isolation to prove a point. It turned me into Neutral Evil alignment, and I use the power of Water and Viking's Luck to get what I want.

You two have less control over your origins as bits and pieces of it have already been worked out to fit the story.
But I will try and incorpate as much as possible.

I was walking through a top secret government building full of radioactive waste for some known but illogical reason, and as I was running away from security I knocked over one of the barrels containing the radioactive waste. At the same time a lamp from the ceiling above fell onto said radioactive waste, creating a radioactive-electric beam that struck me down, thus giving me my powers.

If this sounds like the plot for some B-action/horror movie, I reassure you that it is not.

Ace is in his early 20s and makes his way as a bartender at a few of the various clubs and restaurants in Los Angeles, "The Long Hand" off Sunset being the latest. He chose this profession due to a few factors:

1) The Women; his roughneck appearance and playfully cocky banter doesn't make it difficult for him to get what he wants, and the more traffic, the more targets he can hit.

2) The Scene; he gets to commingle with all the classes, from the jankiest punks at the Whiskey to the Beautiful Coke-Heads at Les Deux. Regardless of who they are, he has a way of being accepted and beloved by all those around him. Maybe its because he's funny...maybe its because they want to use him...as long as they buy him drinks and fill up the tip jar, he'll play along.

3) The Ease; juggling bottles, keeping track of orders, slicing limes, twisting orange peels, staying neat, and always being quick to deliver feel about as stressful and arduous as fluffing his pillow at night. When he works a bar, HE works the bar. Anyone else would simply get in the way.

Ace was raised by his mother for the first 15 years of his life before she was taken to a care center after beginning to suffer severe short term memory loss. She could not remember anything after here husband disappeared on Ace's 13th birthday. Ace would cope with his mother's ailment and his father's abandonment by turning to alcohol and petty crime, moving from foster home to foster home. Instead of going to school, Ace simply learned through experience and would one day count that he had held as many as 44 professions before he had turned 20.

One day, when he was leaving his tenure at the Viper Room a man approached him. It was his father. Taken aback by this confrontation, Ace felt and inner rage and fear he had never experienced before. His father was afraid, on the run, and had come to his son in search for help. His father stopped talking, stopped moving, stopped breating and so did the world around the two. For a few brief moment Ace'd saw the world around him frozen but before Ace could reply or even try to process what he had just learned everything turned black.

He awoke in what he could make out to be some sort of Hangar. It was filled with clock and watch pieces, calenders, sundials and, more than any other object, hour glasses. Strapped to a chair, all Ace could do was stare at these pieces of time, just stare. For what felt like days, Ace watched the sands of time fell endlessly, the short hand barely moved, and the sundials remained stagnant due the enclosed environment.

Movement. Ace looks right and he see's the silhouette of a slender figure. Not sure who this is, or what its intentions are, but a fear begins to take him over again. The figure approaches, and with every footstep towards Ace, time begins to slow again as the rage within Ace mounts and his vision grows blurry. The tiny stones of sand within the dials individually crash and bounce for a moment, one after another, and then, its still. Ace's sight keens and the world is at a still once again, but this time a knife is at his neck and grasping its handle is.....

...you can take it from there :-)
Just know that, as a result, Ace now has an inconsistent control of time, mainly an ability to slow it down.

Bube and Nighthawk were simple average youngsters, but as N.hawk got to the age of 18, that making Bube the age of 21, all those years of the radioactive effect of their pc (which they spent hours looking straight at the monitor) and their cellphone combined with the constant yelling going around the house, such as " clean your room", "bring those empty water bottles downstairs","COME TO DINNNNEEERRRRRR!!!!" etc...

N.hawk just went crazy about all those stuff so one day he ran out to the backyard and screamed so loud for such a long time, eventually his voice was only a high-pitched-fly-like buzz... and his dad came rushing downstairs telling him to shut up, slapping him on the head... and as faith played its role in this story, there was a hawk flying by, which pooped right on his head simultaneously with the slap...

Bube, on the other hand, was totally unaware of the yelling, because he was too busy listening to music with his headset... that also made N.hawk very mad so N.hawk eventually punched the headset while Bube was still wearing them... for the reasons i stated above, his playlist was no longer playing through his headset, but from inside his head... (his playlist t.b.a)

Sadly you don't get much say in the matter since your origins have kind of been weaved into the story...
