Ladies and Gentlemen,

In a few short hours, I will be purchasing Pokemon Diamond for myself, and Pokemon Pearl for my girlfriend at our local Gamestop. Tomorrow we will return to download our ticket to get Deoxys.

I'm choosing Turtwig as my starter, and my girlfriend is choosing Piplup.

I'm more excited than I should be, and it's going to be awesome.

I've been wanting this game forever, and just reading through the features on serebii.net has me excited.

Will update this blog post later with impressions, as well as my gaming experiences from the last two weeks (forgot to post last weekend.)

I'm hoping to be able to use the GTS to get all three starters.

Well, been playing the game for a few hours, and I'm greatly enjoying it. The Pokemon in this game are so much better than the new ones that were in Ruby and Sapphire. I've only caught the pokemon in the first few starting areas, and I already like the ones I have. My girlfriend and I tried out the union room, which was fun, and I like all the new features of the Poketch. My only gripe is probably about the visual presentation of the game. It's very pretty, but I hate how when you walk, everything but your character blurs slightly. It really starts hurting my eyes after a while. We're heading back to Gamestop tomorrow to get Deoxys.

Over the past couple of weeks, I've mainly been playing Kingdom Hearts II. I've had the game for a long time, but for some reason never got very into it. I loved the first one, so I finally decided to pick this one up again. So far it's great, mainly because it continues the pattern set by the first one. Only thing I didn't like is the insanely long beginning part of the game you have to play through with Roxas. My attention span is terrible anymore.

Welp, back to training my Pokemans.

Yessss. Nice.

I just trained my pokemans up for the Pokemon League, all to level 50/51. I haven't tried the Elite Four because I don't know what level they'll be.

Why didn't you trade until you both had all 3 starter Pokemon? It would've taken a couple of hours, but would've been worth it..

I really need to finish the game. I'm at Pokemon League and still haven't entered the Elite Four. I haven't played in a few months because my Pokemon aren't strong enough.

I tried to tell my girlfriend we should trade the starters until we had them all, but she didn't want to do it for some reason.
