Everything looks so smooth. The graphics look very nice and detailed, way better than Jax and Daxter.

This game is still in development right? If so, it seems to be coming along quite well. Hardly any jaggies in sight, if not any. Everything seems to be clear too, except the textures, where are the textures?!
I'll be keeping my eye on this game. Stu, you reckon it will play better than J&D?

Game is still in development...it'll be out in November most likely
It sounds like it'll play much better than Jak and Daxter. Less exploration and egg-hunting, and it's more of a action-based story-driven adventure.....less platforming as well.
The ground textures aren't that great, but the characters and city look astounding.
Can't wait for this game...I really want to see it in motion at E3 too

Thanks Stu, though I did like the exploration element of J&D .
If this game is any better than or as good as J&D, then it is a worthwhile purchase.
I guess my PS2 gets more play time .
Oh, whose developing the game?

The same people who developed Spyro the Dragon... Insomniac, I believe.

Spyro: Year of the Dragon (the last in the series) was actually quite good...
these developers were given the freedom to make their own characters, and about 3 years to make their own game. and shadow, you can explore in any platform game...this one, however, will have less easter-egg hunting...which makes platform games boring IMO (Donkey Kong 64 was a great game, besides the fact that it was a collect-a-thon, which ruined it). This is gonna be different than Spyro, I guaruntee it. Weapon based combat. Story-driven. It's sounds great.

Well, that's comforting to hear .
I kind of agree about DK64, I loved the game, though it became a bit tedious at time. Still, I was kind of happy when I finished 101% of the game .
Hope this gets released next year, because there are too many games I want to buy this year .

The first two were pretty good...like...7.5/10 IMO...but the last one in the PSone series, Year of the Dragon, deserved about an 8.5...it was definately a good game...
