Default Writer's Strike is over

After a bit more than 4 months, the writer's strike is finally over. Writers can go back to work as soon as tomorrow.

The Wire has still been on, so I haven't cared that much. Law and Order was still on for the most part too, so that was okay.

Welp. Have fun wrapping up Lost with 5 more episodes, guys.

It's a shame House is done and 24 won't even appear for another year. Ugh.

The thing that bothers me about Lost is that they're going to make this season run for 13 episodes, when it was planned as 16 - and they said that they'll still finish the planned story. So that's the remaining 8 episodes compressed into 5..

Sad, I actually kind of liked the Sarah Connor Chronicles.

Does anyone else think that the majority of networks lost out on an opportunity with the writer's strike? Great cable shows like Battlestar Galactica could have had reruns show on NBC as if it were for the first time, exposing those shows to a whole new audience.

Instead they just ran reruns and reality shows, with a few exceptions. Huge mistake, IMO.

I completely agree. It's really disappointing.
