Re: Manhunt 2 on the Wii gone too far?
Lighten up people, it's a freaking game.
I don't think they went too far. At all.
No farther than in Zelda, when you use the wiimote as a sword, to kill things.
The difference between Manhunt and Zelda, is Zelda is a major title, and Manhunt puts more emphasis on the killing.
It's not teaching people to kill. I'm sorry, but if you think your child will go out and kill a dozen people after playing a video game where a really light remote simulates a chainsaw, maybe you're a terrible parent in the first place, not to mention a game has never made me say "Man, I really want to go kill someone. This game is wicked!"
Wrestling games don't inspire me to wrestle. Racing games don't inspire me to drive. Killing games don't inspire me to kill. No matter how in-depth the motions are.
Personally, I think it's fantastic. It adds a new level to the game itself. The game is creepy, quiet, and stealthy as it is, and to have to do more than just push a button to dismember an arm, will set more of a tone for it.
And if the game says "Adult Only" - here's a tip; especially for stupid parents - Don't buy it for your ****ing kids unless they're adults.
But hell, if you buy them Manhunt 2, be sure to get them backdoor sluts 9. The first 8 are a little repetative.
