Default Zelda: after the storm

So we all beated Zelda. Yes here will be SPOILERS. Shame on you if you haven't beaten the game yet, shoo! Shoo!

One day I killed an enemy and pushed A to put away my sword.... and Link did his cool putting-his-sword-away-trick. Any idea how to do that? I tried timing it exactly when the dead enemy explodes into the black stuff, I don't think it worked.

Something else I discovered: when you fight near Epona and an enemy comes near Epona, she kicks it and it takes damage and falls down! Awesome...

When you're behind Epona and press A, you jump on from the back and she gallops away very fast. Looks great.

I guess you can only flip off Epona with sword in hand when you're 'in combat'?

What about future? Didn't Nintendo say this would be the last Zelda with this formula? They're morons if they go through with that. Twilight Princess has a winning formula! Don't drop it now...
I want a new Zelda game in the next years. A sequel comparable to Majora's Mask, a big sidequest. With perhaps some connection to Hyrule/Zelda later on in the game.
Give us enhanced sword play! I know it's possible, we've seen the accuracy of Wii Sports boxing and baseball.
Should Link transform in a wolf again in the next game? I don't know. I liked playing as a wolf, sometimes more than Hylian (AND NOT HUMAN ). Maybe in the next game Link could transform in a lot more animals, like the masks in MM.
Hyrule still was pretty small. They tried to make it look bigger.... but the size is overhyped. I want to have this feeling that I'm somewhere far away.

Oh, I also loved the part on the bridge where I rode head on towards the fat Moblin, holding my sword high in the air!

Oh and what happened to stuff that we saw in trailers but never got into the game? Al lot of stuff from the 2nd trailer disapeared again. I guess it didn't fit in?

What was the deal with the hard-to-find-and-beat rooms in Hyrule Castle? And what did we get? Some crappy rupees and bows/bombs.... Btw what's your biggest purse? Mine's 600 rupees..... I feel like I miss something. Maybe after I get all the 24 Golden Bugs for Agatha.

All in all, great game, it left me hungering for more (and harder plzx)!

You can do the "cool" sword put-away by pressing A as soon as you kill the enemy, not when he explodes. Sooner is better than later.

And its only on certain "more difficult" enemies. You kill a Keese and hit A, he just sticks his sword in its sheath. You kill a Lizalfos, he does the cool thing.

I finished the Wii version and I'm at the Twilight Palace on the GC version. I have to say, I prefer much more the GC version. Pressing the B button to swign the sword and keeping it pressed to do the twirl is much better. The free cam is also a must.

What an awesome game it is.

played thro quite a bit on the GC version after i beat the wii version. and im the opposite as duggler. i'd rather have the wii version over all. i mean the sword is better on the gc version, actually using buttons istead of wiggling the remote. however all the others are better, more accurate, and easier to use in the wii version.

i'd like a free cam. but it didnt bother me at all not having it in the wii version. and i never gave it a thought. nor have i used it all that much in the gc version.

it was a winning formula for OoT, its time to change it up a bit they're not morons for staying or switching at this point. but they are morons if they think they dont need to do SOMETHING to make the next one stand out more. its been said by reviewers and fans alike, complaining about how its basically the same zelda each time now, which it is. there needs to be some more innovation involved in the next one to take zelda to the next level.

it was a great game. however it still feels like an extension of OoT. Personally i'd like to see a more cell shaded look like WW again, maybe just not quite so cutesy characters. plus i think the wii does cartoonish graphics wonderfully, and i dont really care about having em realistic. i like some color.

I still wonder what they did with some areas of the trailers.

Well I finally finished it the other day. It wasnt as good as OOT, but it was as close as anyone has come. It couldve been a little more diffucult I thought, but thats really my only complaint. The dungeons were as good as theyve ever been.

Bosses were way too easy. I didn't like the air dungeon: although it had some nice concepts, the atmosphere sucked. The rest was pretty cool, probably better than ever.

I'll agree that the bosses were a tad easy, and I at first thought the dungeons as a whole were easier than in the past. But I dont think thats true, ive just gotten so much better at Zelda games since then I never really got completley stumped. Whereas when I played OOT, it was the first Zelda game I actually played through entirely.

Indeed. I would totally buy a "Master Quest" version of Twilight Princess with revamped dungeons.
