Is it me, has it always done this, or did Nintendo **** UP????

When you jump on the turtle in world 3-1 and get all the extra lives, aren't you supposed to KEEP those lives? Now when I get the extra lives, if you die (with say 30 lives), it says GAME OVER!!!!!!!!!

Well it's clear what's going on here. Nintendo things you are too greedy, and decided to take the piss out of you.

Talking about bugs, I heard Twilight Princess might crash somewhere if you saved in a specific region.... Can you describe it, possibly without spoilers? I just got into the 7th dungeon...

I think you may already be past it. There's this part where you walk into a room with a cannon. There's a guy in the room. If you leave while the guy is there, he'll tell you to stay. If you examine the cannon the guy will leave.

At this point you should be able to leave, but you're supposed to use Midna to warp the cannon somewhere.

HOWEVER! If you save it and then quit inside the room, after the guy has left and before you warp the cannon, it'll glitch and you can't go forward in the game. Apparently it saves that the guy's avatar left the room, but it it still thinks he's in the room, if that makes sense. So you can transform into the wolf and warp the cannon, because it'll say the guy will see you, even though he's not really there. And you can't leave the room or the guy will tell you to stay, although he's supposed to be gone.

And he doesn't leave "again" if you examine the cannon. So you're stuck.

But I think you got past that already, so you shouldn't have to worry.
