The Survivor contest has ended without anyone finding the location of the Golden Key. This means that it is still out there somewhere waiting for you to find it! The key must be found by midnight CST on 12/31/06 in order to claim the prize of a DS Lite. The hunt consists of the story, the poem and the clues, all of which can be found in the treasure hunt forum. The poem tells you how to find the key and consists of the first six prime# clues reposted here for your convenience:

Clue#3: 1()()x[4P\3|=(_)11’/,7|-|34|\|5vveP\54P\3|\|34P\
Clue#5: 0 2 7 17 14 13 14 2 14 3 4 22 8 19 7 15 14 8 13 19 18 13 20 12 1 4 17 4 3 19 7 17 4 4
Clue#7: Will lead you straight to the Golden Key
Clue#11: Decipher the clues on your own accord
Clue#13: And you'll be able to rock this board.

A couple of the poem clues were previously known only to Survivor contestants. Those survivors will be compensated with additional clues. Each week new clues will be revealed until either the contest ends or someone finds the key. Happy hunting.

Btw does anyone even care about this at all? Has anyone been working on the clues? I like doing contests and giving away stuff but if no one's interested then I can move on and work on the GT upgrades. I don't have a preference either way. It all depends on what you guys want to do.

Id really love to try, although there are a few reasons why im really not trying.

One, it looks too complicated for my primitive brain. Besides, im usually terrible at puzzles like this.

Two, I dont really have the time that it would probably take to figure all that stuff out.

One question, if I may. How exatly do we "find" the key? Are we suppooused to figure out some secret page of gametavern, which will be a picture of a golden key or something? So am I going to find it at like www.gametavern.net/goldenkey

I guess the whole thing just confuzzles me.

i'm definelty interested, i'm just waiting for more clues, i was going to post something like "what's going on? where are the new clues" but decided not to.

there are a few people who are trying to firgure out the clues...

I'm really close. I've got a number of things I'm working on right now. I think I know what I need to do. I'm just trying to find where I need to do it.

The same goes for me. I am stuck on what I have. Although, I haven't been to GT much since college started again.

No, I'm pretty sure anybody can search for the key, we just don't have access to all of the clues.

I'm so lost. I had an idea awhile ago, but it didn't pan out. I'm not sure how to solve the poem, so I guess you could say I'm pretty lost...

Is Clue #3 supposed to look like a math equation?
