CHALLENGE#1 - Drake Tribe HERE

DRAKE TRIBE USE THIS THREAD FOR CHALLENGE#1 ON SUNDAY

Drake tribe is to use this thread to complete Sunday night's challenge. This way if my internet isn't working or if I am otherwise detained the challenge can go on without me. You may begin the challenge at 8:00 CST sharp, but not before. If you post at 7:59 it will not count. Also be sure to complete the entire challenge even if the other team finishes first. You never know, they could have made a mistake.

We're starting off with a simple challenge called "Build a Shelter." A shelter is extremely important seeing as how you are all stranded on an island. Each tribe will construct a shelter by following these steps in their exact order:

1) scout location
2) gather bamboo
3) gather palm leaves
4) gather more bamboo
5) gather more palm leaves
6) gather hemp to make rope
7) make rope
8) place floor beams
9) build floor
10) cut equal link supporting posts
11) build roof
12) cover shelter with palm leaves
13) make cute window
14) place sleeping bags inside shelter
15) raise tribe flag on top of shelter.

In order to accomplish this all you need to do is post. For example, survivor A will post something like "Scouting a location," then survivor B will post "Gathers bamboo," survivor C then posts "gathers palm leaves." This process continues until you have constructed your shelter. Each item must be done in order. If you attempt to build the roof without the supporting posts then your shelter sucks and you should be ashamed of yourselves.

You need at least FOUR people to complete this challenge, but you can use more if you like. No survivor may go more than once every four items. So whoever "scouts location" can not post an action again until #5 "gather more palm leaves." If you screw up you must start over from the point of screw-up.

This is the first time the Survivor forum has been open to all GT members, so it is possible they may post something to distract you (this goes for future challenges as well). No one may assist you in the challenge except for your tribemates. Make sure the person who posts an action is actually a tribemate before you go on to post the next action.

If we are tied at the end of this process (both tribes finish at the same time) the win will go to whichever tribe used the most members. If we are still tied I will post a cryptogram to solve. If you don't know what a cryptogram is then google it.

The winning tribe gains immunity and the first half of the treasure story, "The Worst Story Ever Told." Hidden within the story is the location of the GameTavern Golden Key. The losing tribe will go to tribal council will they will vote one of their members off the island.
