Post The MS conference

HI guys,I've just watched about half of the mircosoft confernce and so far, THe xbox 360 has impressed me and as much as Nintendo has impressed me with their conference. I think that in terms of presentation that M$ had the best conference of the three. ( I didn't brother to watch the Sony conference because I heard from alot of people said it was a borefess)

So what are your thoughts? Who do you think had the best conference?

honestly i'd have to agree MS's was the best, they were all boring tho.

but being that 360 is already out.. MS had the advantage of showing games games and more games... then other stuff that will be ready to buy almost right away.

aside from a real console unvealing, all press conferences are boring, because they are for exactly what it sounds like. the press. getting all the tech info out, while indeed boring, is what articles and future discussions are based on, so its important to get that out. if it was for the gamers, not only would it be called the Exciting Gamers Conference! but it would be a big party.

i think next year's E3 will be a better opportunity for Nintendo and Sony to show off Wii and PS3 games...remember last E3? Microsoft didnt look too hot...but it's not really fair to judge them on a system that (at the time) wasnt being released for another 6 months

From the forums, and the press, Wii shined.

I never saw the MS conference, so I don't know, but I saw PS3 one.

Actually the IGN editors mainly said Nintendo won

Click day 3.

Some say Microsoft, I don't think anybody mentioned Sony coming first.

I finally got around to watching the Microsoft conference. I thought it was very good and I liked the large amount of game footage. I'd give Nintendo a slight edge because of the innovation factor, but MS had a very solid conference. Both Microsoft and Nintendo faired way better than Sony.

Sony looked like they were conducting a seminar on how not to make a presentation. Seriously have any of these guys had a speech class or been coached on basic presentation techniques? It was more like an intercompany board meeting than a conference.

I had all but written MS off in favor of Sony but now it will probably come down to who has the few select titles that I can't live w/o.

Btw, can you access the live arcade and those new games with the original Xbox?
