Wel considering that in fighters you only have 2 characters and some enviroment, KI could look like that.
But the Banjo-Threeie and Jet Gemini are games that contain big worlds and plenty of other characters which will take plenty of processing. While the worlds might be just like in those pics, the characters and surely casual enemies will look less detailed. Just look at the intense detail in the 4th pic, especially the texture and bump mapping and the smooth characters showing a lot of poligons which will not be on them in a real game.

Actually, all those images were raytraced on the fly. There is currently no gaming hardware available (except an amped-up OS2) that can process that many graphical calculations in-game. Now, we may see them in a cut-scene or two, but right now only KI 1's graphics are accessable on GCN or Xbox in realtime, as far as texture throughput and specular maps are concerned.

I would've said most probalbly not. But then I figured out that Rare would be the one developing them. And they have impressed me many times. So I don't know. Tough the game would run like at 15 fps.

I would say wait for the next system to see games looking exactly like those pics, IMO no system in this generation is capable of those graphics realtime.
