2006 Winter Olympics
The Winter Olympics are in Torino, Italy this year. Last night was the opening ceremonies. Is anyone going to be watching some of the events that will be going on for the next two weeks or so? Personally I'm looking forward to the Hockey, Skiing events, Bobsleigh, Luge, Skeleton, and Speed Skating. I just hope I have time to watch some of the events because it's during the school year.

Re: 2006 Summer Olympics
I doubt I'll watch any of the events although Hockey, Speed Skating, and Snowboarding look like they'd be fun to watch.

Re: 2006 Summer Olympics
Out of all the sports the Biathlon seems the weirdest. I mean cross country skiing combined with shooting.

Damn I'm sorry. I was looking up past olympic topics to make sure that nobody had already created the topic..and I saw Summer Olympics 2004 and the word Summer was stuck in my head.
I'll change it.
Well, I have a bad feeling that it's not going to let me change the whole thread..I'll probably just delete it unless you can change it Dylflon.

Did Holland win anything yet? I'm not following it. Not that I care that much about my country.

Re: 2006 Winter Olympics
So, I'm watching the figure skating competition right now... but this comment would apply to any of the non contact competition events.
I was talking to someone a little while ago who was complaining about the commentators. They were saying that they get annoyed listening to the comments because they don't always agree. Well, one of the commentators was ripping this couple apart. But I thought they were doing a pretty good job.
The results thus far... that couple is in second place.
Don't always trust what the commentators say.
