The more threads we have this in, the better.

More Manning Facts:

3-6 Record in the NFL playoffs.

6 Losses in College, 3 to arch-rival Florida, never won a national championship. Tennessee won the national title the year after he left.

5 losses in High School, 3 in the state playoffs, never won a state championship

I go to the University of Pittsburgh and it was crazy here after the game. On one of the main streets on the campus there was a mass of students, and the cops had to block off traffic and spray tear gas to disperse everyone. It was going on for a few hours. I had a great view from my dorm room. No way am I rooting for the Steelers. Instead I'm rooting for the Seahawks this year. The Eagles will hopefully be back next year.

I don't hate manning. It's not like I wish upon him death. Just more choking.

From Dave Zdyrko (former IGN editor) on Brady vs. Manning.

Quote:
Both QB's were benefited by a controversial call -- the "tuck" rule for Brady and that overturned INT for Manning. Both QB's lead their teams on very short drives to setup long FG's that could potentially tie the game at the end of regulation -- Brady led a 26 yard drive to setup a 45 yard FG and Manning led a 15 yard drive to setup a 46 yard FG. So, comparitively speaking, both QB's had nearly identical performances with Manning actually having a higher completion %, better yards per attempt, and a TD with no INTs versus Brady with no TDs and 1 INT.

What was the difference? Well, Tom's boy Adam made his FG while Peyton's boy Mike missed his FG. What's worse is that that Pats' kick was in blizzard while the Colts' kick was in a Dome. If New England would have missed that FG, you never know if they would've went on to the success they had. There would still be some debate with who to start, Bledsoe or Brady, because Brady wouldn't have been the Super Bowl MVP and lock to remain the starter. Plus, Belichick would've still had the label of being a coach that couldn't win the big games.

For the record, he hates Peyton Manning.

Yeah yeah I know I shouldnt bring logic into a situation like this, and its better just to ignore it, but as a Colt loyal it's in my blood.

And Gremlin, that's exactly what hating is

Go Steelers!

Right cause the divisional round was entirely isolated. Manning has never choked before.

he didnt choke this year, junior. the Colts (yes, including Peyton) lost.

and for some reason i dont feel bad about a quarterback whose previous 'choke jobs' were in New England, both years which the Pats went on to win the SuperBowl as clearly the best team in the NFL.

you also seemed to leave a few tidbits off your list...like how he is one of two people (i think, not entirely sure on that second part) to throw for a perfect 158.3 QB rating in the playoffs...or how he beat Kansas City IN Kansas City (one of the toughest places to play as a road team) after they had a bye.
