Default Movie(s) of the Year

I know the year isn't quite over yet, we still have a few weeks, but I thought the bulk of the movies came out and well folks can always respond later.

I mean if you know me, the choice for movie of the year isn't too hard at all..

But I got to give it up to Batman Begins. It just rocked on so many levels.

I also want to say that 40 Year Virgin was the Best Comedy of the Year in my opinion, I liked it a lot more than Wedding Crashers which was good on its own.

My nod for top movie of the year goes to The Squid and the Whale for now.

Honorable Mentions: Capote, A History of Violence, Howl's Moving Castle, The Baxter.

Still have to see...: Good Night and Good Luck and The Constant Gardener.

War of the Worlds was a flop. I expected so much and got so little.

I like Stu's list.

And would like to add The Constant Gardener.

It's sad so few people actually went to see that movie.

Just saw Good Night, And Good Luck...Probably won't be seeing too many more movies this year, so my final list stands as...

1. The Squid and the Whale
2. Good Night, And Good Luck.
3. A History of Violence
4. Capote

Other movies I liked: Howl's Moving Castle, Sin City, The Baxter, March of the Penguins

Regretfully not seen (yet): Wedding Crashers, 40-year-old Virgin, Constant Gardener, Murderball, Grizzly Man, Broken Flowers...
