Opening day today!
Let's go Mets! I was going to go, but my dad couldn't get tickets.. so now I get to go through the traffic for the game when I go with my mom to bring my sister back up to college! Hooray!

You feel it every year Jason, but I think you may be right this year. You guys picked up Tino who will be a good leader for your team, you also have Pujols who is going to have a big year and be an all-star, and a solid closer with Isranghausen.

My poor old Phils got smacked around 7-2 against the Braves. I don't know what to think this year, we'll probably be .500 or less, falling well short of the Mets and Braves and maybe even the Marlins. Make that 14 out of 17 losing seasons for us probably.

I'm guessing they won.. poor Jason.. didn't want to bet on the season, I was going to pay you 100 doubloons for every game the Cardinals lost.. but you said no way to a pre-season bet.. oh well.. maybe next year
