It's another night in hell, Another child won't live to tell
Can you imagine what it's like to starve to death
And as we sit free and well, Another soldier has to yell
Tell my wife and children I love them in his last breath
C'mon now amen, amen, amen

Re: Beer Ads
I love the Carlton Draught ad. Everytime it comes on the telly here, I have the urge to sing along, just like karaoke
Mmm.... Beer. There's still a bottle of Stella in my fridge, now should be a good time to drink it

Re: Beer Ads
All three of those ads are hillarious, and the Guinness one was exceptionally done. The time it took to figure out a way to animate evolution is probably the most impressive feat of that commercial to me.
Go beer!!

Re: Beer Ads
If you are talking about the BigAd, it's by composer Carl Orff... It's from Carmina Burana and specifically it's the 'O Fortuna' piece.
I think it also inspired the theme for The Omen.

Re: Beer Ads
Carmina Burana has been used to too many filma to mention them all here. Its a wonderful classical piece in the German tradition of kick-ass classical music.
And that Guiness ad might be the best commercial I've ever seen. I hope they start playing it here in the states soon.

Re: Beer Ads
Those were great! My anthropology teacher would love the Guiness commercial, I'm wondering whether I should send the link to him or not, it may not be wise to send an alcoholic endorsement to a school official.

Although the way the evolution is depicted is severely wrong on several accounts and would likely give you a failing grade for even bringing such tomfoolery to his attention.
Still fun to watch though.
