Re: THE NFL 2005-2006 Thread.
NFC West
Seahawks 9-7
Rams 8-8
Cardinals 6-10
49ers 3-13
NFC East
Eagles 11-5 B
Cowboys 9-7 WC
Giants 5-11
Redskins 4-12
NFC South
Panthers 13-3 B HFA
Falcons 10-6 WC
Saints 7-9
Bucs 6-10
NFC North
Vikings 9-7
Bears 7-9
Lions 7-9
Packers 7-9
AFC West (Who the **** knows)
Chiefs 11-5
Chargers 10-6
Broncos 8-8
Raiders 7-9
AFC East
Patriots 14-2 B HFA
Bills 10-6 WC
Jets 9-7
Dolphins 2-14
AFC South
Colts 12-4 B
Texans 9-7
Jaguars 8-8
Titans 1-15
AFC North
Steelers 11-5
Bengals 10-6 WC
Ravens 9-7
Browns 4-12
Every team not named the Browns, Titans or Dolphins couls make the playoffs out of the AFC.
BTW, 16 (games) times 32 (teams) = 512 and the wins and losses add up to that.
NFC Offensive Player of the Year Jake Dellhome
NFC Defensive Player of the Year Adewale Ogunleye
AFC Offensive Player of the Year Willis McGahee
AFC Defensive Player of the Year Corey Simon
Offensive ROY Mark Clayton
Defensive ROY Derrick Johnson
I want to say Panthers over Pats in the superbowl but now everyone is on the Panthers bandwagon which is pretty much the kiss of death, so I’ll take the pats to win #4 and have them knocking off….
Oh who the hell cares, the NFC Blows.

Re: THE NFL 2005-2006 Thread.
The Falcons will go nowhere with Vick. I actually think Schaub would get them farther. Panthers are a scary team for us Eagles fans, though.
Go Birds.

If we've learned anything from the Pats run these past years, it should be that while scoring points is now more important than ever, defense still wins football. The Falcons D is very good.
You still seriously underrate Vick. He's nowhere near as good as the Eastern Seaboard Programing Network talking heads like to hype him up as, but he's nowhere as bad as the anti Vick backlash likes to paint him.

I underrate Vick because he is seriously overrated. He is a running QB who is completely ineffective when you keep him in the pocket. Look at what the Eagles did to him for the past two years. The formula for beating Vick is so startingly simple I'm suprised more teams haven't figured it out:
Do not rush Vick
+ Keep him in the pocket
---------------------------------
You win
The Eagles punished Vick in last years NFC championship game, including a hit by Hollis Thomas that I desacribed as "Thats what it looks like when human being is hit by a vending machine", by letting Vick come to them.
If you take away Vick's legs, his arm will do more harm than good.
