Temporary Disaster!!

I would advise younger auidences to leave amiddently, some might find what this thread contains distrubing.

This week, ah what an eventually week yet unforfilling week it has been for me. Both my internet and my sky tv (satelite digital tv here in the UK) went on the blink. I was devistated, with nothing to entertain me i just sat in a corner curled up on the flour. Fortuntly, my internet connection starting working again. It was only a temporary thing, but my sky TV still would not work. I tried resetting everything, and tried everything i could think of. Eventaully someone had to come round and see what was wrong. Now both are working, but it really does bring into perspective just how reliate i am on these things.

Who else couldn't live without the internet and digital TV (okay, so we can still live without it. But i think you know what i'm touching on. We've become so used to technolgy and it's advantages. We rely on them, and take them for granteed). So i'll pose a better question. Lets say that the form of technolgy you most rely on is taken away, what would that do. Would you simply not care, or would you be devastated?

i'm fine w/o TV, i don't use it much. i could easily survive w/o anything except for internet. i need internet. i need gameFAQs, here, xengen, GSN, popcap.com, and fark.com. i need them.

well i would read more books.........but i would miss the information that I get on the net. plus I guess I would miss posting here...but T.v I could do without....cause I don't watch much of it anyway... but a car and a radio i would miss..cause I love music. But I think I could survive......I mean other people survived without them..so I guess could.
