I second your second part.

Dunno which one's better... Mario is a port, Sonic is new...

Sonic is the better.

And as for those "cheat chartrige thingys" aka GameSharks, go ahead and get one. They can amusing once you've honestly, code-free, beaten a game.

*dusts off thread* this version of gameshark doesnt mess up your game like previous ones for gbc, gbp, gb

as for which game is better, theyre both must haves. they should be in every persons collection of video games.

I really really really enjoyed Mario 2. I haven't played Sonic Advance in-depthly, however. So I cannot really decide a winner.

I enjoy Super Mario more. They are both equal in entertainment but one thing Mario has over Sonic is that the games are longer.

I read a review of Mario World today, and it looks pretty fun after all! I think that a port of a super game can be more fun than a new game that you can beat in 4 hours...

But since I'm already playing Super Mario World on my SNES, I'm not gonna buy it.

I have Super Mario World for my SNES, but I have it for the GB Advance anyway. I normally wouldn't buy it since I already have it, but it came with the GBA that I bought.

I like them both, but for different reasons. I mean, there's rather different game play. Mario's an old friend and Sonic is a new buddy. He's a lot faster than Mario, but some of the fun details of the Mario games aren't there. As of now, I'm really glad we have both!

For those of you that do have Super Mario World, who do you like better, Mario or Luigi? Mario plays like he did on the SNES, but Luigi jumps higher, and when you hit one of those boxes that has multiple coins they all come out with one hit. I personally like Mario better, but on a few levels it's much easier to use Luigi. Both are good to use though.
