Drinking (Video) Games

Well, some of us are of age either in the States or the Great White North.. so I was wondering if any of you turned some of our favorite pastime (or so I assume) into drinking games like some of my friends did.

This is one my friend's created while they were supposed to be doing hwork...

Mario Party Advanced


Rules:

1 - First Place Takes 1 Drink
2 - Second Place Takes 1Drink
3 - Third Place Takes 1 Drink
4 - Fourth Place Takes 1 Drink
5 - Gives 1 Drink
6 - No one Drinks
7 - Everyone drinks except the person who rolled the 7
8 - Girls (Heather)
9 - Guys
10 - Social

- Whenever the number rolled to determine the order comes up, 1 drink for the player who rolled it at the beginning, and who rolled it at the time
- If you use a capsule, 1 drink
- If you lose a mini game take 1 drink, if you win the 4 v 4 then give 1 drink
- If you land on any red circle, 1 drink
- Modifying the star (moving, stealing results in a 5 second chug
- The loser of the game finishes his/her cup OR takes a shot
- The winner of the game gets to make up 1 rule

This is another one I found dealing with Madden... or any football game...

Beer Madden:
This game was invented one night, while sitting around in a dorm room with a case of beer in the fridge, wondering what to do beside the obvious.

The rules are simple. You and another person take drinks depending on the outcome of a play during the Madden game (or any other football video game).

Drinks are as follows:

Offense makes positive yards = defense must drink

Offense loses yards = offense must drink

Offense has no gain of yardage = both sides drink

Penalty = drink the amount of yards against you

Scoring = drink the amount of points scored

Depending on your quarter length and how good you are this game can go through a lot of beer in a short time(ex. 2 beers per 5 min quarter). Oh, one last rule. All open beers must be chugged before the start of a new quarter. Have fun.

Anyhow, I've seen a few others.. Does anyone where have any or we could come up with some rules.. yes I'm just trying to find more

hot sholts golf drinking is hilarious.

36 hole match play. if you WIN a hole, you chug a beer. loser pays for all beers consumed.

it's actually quite interesting because a lot of it is strategy.

We used to drink to Monkey Target from the Super Monkey Ball games, Sega Soccer Slam and sometimes to Mario Kart and NBA Street Vol 2. I can't remember the rules, though.

Hmm would ask about Monkey Target but most everyone I knows avoids the game because of the name, but what can you do.

I've seen rules for Mario Kart, but its rather weird and difficult since most of them involves stopping after every lap which just doesn't make sense in the scheme of the game.

I think it could also work for Mario Tennis and I guess Smash Bros. Though I'm sure that would be extremely comical after a while...

I think Super Smash Bros could be a good game to turn into a drinking game. I will have to work on the details.

Not from personal experiences but from my friends, who now refuse to play the game, apparently its not a good idea to play Wario ware drunk either. It kind of messes with your mind or something.

As for Smash Bros, I would assume a drink for each time you knocked off and two for any suicides would work out well. Also if you wanted to add any rules.. any score below zero has to drink to reach zero.. so if you got a -6.. well 6 drinks and so on.. but this is just rough estimates here...

Well found these for MArio Party 4, but sure could alter for Mario Party in general...

What you need:

1 TV
1 Gamecube with 4 controllers
1 Copy Mario Party 4
4 or more Friends
Lots of Beer (or shots)
Once you have all of this set up, you need to decide which board to play on. It really doesn't matter which, they're all pretty much the same once you're drunk. Also, decide your number of turns. If you pick 10, you're a *****. If you pick 50, you're probably drunk while reading this, and have no need to play. If you have any teams, team members should all drink at the same time, and alternate turns. Everyone chugs one beer to start up the game

After that, the rules go like this (they will probably make no sense at all to anyone who has never played the game, so do a dry run first):

At the beginning of the game, people drink based on their turn order. 1st=0 drinks, 2nd=1 drink, 3=2 drinks, 4th=3 drinks
Roll a 1, you drink
Roll a 10, everyone else drinks
Roll doubles, and everyone else finishes their beer
Landing on a red space is one drink
Finish your drink if you land on a Bowser space
Bowser game losers drink
If anyone gets a star, everyone else drinks
If you win any sort of lottery, everyone else drinks
At the beginning of any mini-game, everyone takes one drink
All minigame losers take one drink
In a battle game, 1st place gets no drinks, 2nd gets 1, 3rd gets 2, 4th gets 3
If you lose more that 10 coins at once, one drink
Every time someone gets more that 100 coins for the first time, everyone drinks
If someone steals coins from you, you both drink
If someone steals a star from you, the stealer drinks and the stealee finishes their beer
If you try to steal from someone and they have a flashlight, finish your beer because you're an idiot
Reversals of fortune cause whoever comes out worse to finish their beer
Using a magic lamp is a one drink penalty
Last 5 turns of the game, all drinks are doubled
If anyone wins with the magic lottery ticket, everyone finishes their beers
Follow normal star rules when bonus stars are given out
All losers finish their beer, and chug one more for losing
Throwing your controller in frustration is a one drink penalty
Hitting someone is a one drink penalty
Physically distracting someone to thow them off during a game is a one drink penalty (hitting, throwing and distracting are encouraged, but you've gotta pay for it)
