Flaw!
This is ment to be a newbie free paradise right? But how many doubloons do you get for signing up, and how many does it now cost to get in here? Oopsy.

You also have to have been signed up for a certain number of months (forgot how many) and you have to have 1000 posts. The 200 doubloons wasn't what was keeping newbies out, it was that membership length and post count.
Newbies are still not capable of joining.

Yes, a member has to be a member for over 6 months to be able to get access to these forums. So, sorry, but you have to put your shot gun down.

Does it really matter? I always see everyone bitch about newbies, but I can't even think of more than two of them. How many newbies do we have at Gametavern? How many of them do we have that piss you off? It's probably a really low number, as in maybe one.

There has recently been a bunch of these so called newbies. The only one that got on most people's nerves was leatherface. But I think he got banned, so that took care of him.
And I agree. Although I like it that the Black Project is all "classic" members because it kind of brings a uniquenss to it.

I wish sdtPikachu were here, though. He would round out my list of veteran and valuable members at these boards. Unfortunately, he seems too busy with his academic work. Such a sad fate for a wonderful poster.

I know. Stupid academics... Always getting in the way of what is important. FORUMS! Or more specifically, GameTavern!
Yeah..
Damn, those hamburgers are great.
Oh, and has anybody talked to Pika recently? I use to talk to him alot on ICQ, but I haven't seen him online in a while.

I got a solution: mix academics and school -- like I'm doing right now, posting when I'm suppose to be doing some kind of school work
*looks at board*
Oh.. unit review.. nevermind that..

No, I think leatherface is still here. He posted today (April 2). Man, he fills those Gamecube Boards like there's no tommorrow. Errr
Anyway, today I've joined the Black Project! Everyone excited to see me!
*silence with the exception of a lone cricket*
Oh..uh..don't everyone shout out at once....
*continued silence*
(On a serious note I hope no one's bummed I'm here)
