Apple + Sony = PS3

I am now hearing stronger rumors that Sony is indeed working with Apple on the PS3. Most of this work is based around support for iTunes and iPop on the PS3.

iPod connectivity - Ability to connect the iPod to the PS3 and play it's music through the PS3 to your stereo or other audio playback devices. Will also provide some graphical effects on your TV during playback

iTunes linkup - Access iTunes and your music through the PS3. Purchase and download additiona tracks through the PS3. Wirelessly play iTunes music from your PC/Mac through the PS3

Sync support - Use the PS3 to sync your iPod with iTunes, no need for a PC or Mac to sync and add/remove tracks and organize playlists.

Apple may also be helping Sony with some UI design for the PS3 dashboard interface. No links, and for that I appologize, but I figured people would like to hear this information anyways. If the rumors hold true, this would be mutually benefitical for Sony and Apple in a lot of ways.

And, over at Engadget, Joshua Fruhlinger is reporting that, "Merrill Lynch analyst Steven Milunovich thinks Apple and Sony could be working on some big things." Full article here.

Apple eh? Maybe PS3 won't be designed to break like PS2 was. Then again every apple computer I've used annoyed the hell out of me but I assume it was just the OS and not the hardware. Crashes less than windows my ass...

I don't see a problem with it. Who cares if it is spam? As long as it doesn't start a big spam war, I say who cares. Is it wrong to make a stupid post from time to time? *Waits for the "But you do that all the time" remark*

Lately, it just seems everyone has a cucumber up their ass or something. I would say pickle, but I can only assume since a cucumber is larger, it would be less comfortable than its pickled bretheren.

I dont see a big problem with it, but it serves absolutely no purpose, and gets tiresome. Is it supposed to add comic relief to the situation? It's not that he should be punished or anything, but why bother make a post like that? That's what I'd like to know...

1) Boredom?
2) Possibly it was funny to him.
3) He possibly thought it was funny to others.

Remember, each post is subjective. Something pointless to you, might be hilarious to someone else, or might shed insight to that person. Just because the post seemed irrelevant to you, doesn't mean it was to everyone else.

And I'm not specifically talking about the post he made, because I didn't find it funny, I'm just talking in general.
