The Portable Gamecube Advance?
was looking at engadget.com and spoted this. pretty interesting.
http://www.engadget.com/entry/1234000463042337/
Im not sure exactly what they're saying it is. prolly just a picture that will never happen. But how cool would it be if it was real? hehe.
the cd gives you the impression that its big, but ya gotta force yourself into thinking of it as a gc mini sized cd.

Re: The Portable Gamecube Advance?
That looks awesome. The screen is so large and vibrant and the interface of the system is so sleek. I love how they took the Gamecube control design and embedded it into a small fold-up package.
I don't know what the play, pause, stop, etc buttons are for though. I guess it'll play mini DVD-Rs. Sweet!
I guess we'll be seeing this at E3. If it's $100, PSP will be d00med!

Re: The Portable Gamecube Advance?
Even though its some kind of a concept, its flawed.
The analog controls would pose a problem for players...

Re: The Portable Gamecube Advance?
That's an interesting concept
Start //
The glossy finish reminds me of some unit I can't think of right now...
EDIT: LOL'z.... Don't count on this one, My boss has the same portable DVD player in the warehouse. People are getting good with Photoshop these days. They edited the buttons and layout so nicely... you can hardly tell...
but if you look at the logo it's obvious they took the ADVANCE from the real GBA and stuck it under the gamecube logo. I'm looking at the unit right now, and the top and the inside are different, but everything else is the same as that picture. Good work to whoever did this one.

Matt from IGN:
I know you guys have all seen those pictures of this supposed GameCube Advance... they are very pretty, aren't they? Those particular pictures are just mockups, but a beautiful machine like that would give PSP a run for it's money...

The sticks would jam the screen.

Lets follow this logic.
PS2 outsold gamecube by what like 8-1? (I have absolutly no idea what the real number is so I pulled one out of my ass)
So therefore a portiable gamecube is going to outsell to the point of defeating what is essentially a portable ps2 that also happens to have picture, music and movie playback.
Put down the purple koolaid and back away, Crash.
