Re: some Twisted Metal: Head-on screens
Perfect franchise for a handheld? I could barely keep up with Twisted Metal black on a big screen U.U

Hmm, I don't see any new characters. But Mr. Slam is back. He's my favorite vehicle from number 2.

I was just about to say.....
Twisted Metal, Twisted Metal 2, and Twisted Metal Black are all awesome games.
If that game follows along the line of those 3, it's going to be one hell of a title.
That may be the determining factor of when and/or if I get a PSP.

That's awesome. Although, I was always more of a Vigilante 8 fan.

the creator of this game stated that this game really is the "spiritual successor to Twisted Metal 2"
I'm pumped...this game is going to be awesome, I just know it.
Oh, and rumour has it the game they're working on after this is a Twisted Metal PS3 game...deep story mode and all.

Re: some Twisted Metal: Head-on screens
I never really got into Vigilante 8. It looked like a fun game, but I have deep roots in Twisted Metal and Twisted Metal 2. The first Twisted Metal game was one of the first 3D games I ever played, and it has a special place in my heart along with Super Mario 64.
Too bad the series went to crap after Twisted Metal 2......
Oh well, it's been back on track of late.
If they make a new Vigilante 8 title, I'll check it out for sure.

Re: some Twisted Metal: Head-on screens
I forget what Vigilante 8 is. =\
But Twisted Metal is good.....They kind of get redundant after a while...like, each game is basically like the last one in a way. Its like, basically the same game...except...better graphics.
Twisted Metal Black was awesome though, I wont deny that.
Im not a huge fan of games liek this, I would play It, but I wouldnt buy it, just because I know I would get bored of the apparent redundancy.

Re: some Twisted Metal: Head-on screens
Twisted Metal was always a social game....me and my friend would sit in his basement, crank up Master Of Puppets on the stereo, and play 2-player Co-op in the games. It was a lot of fun.
Of course....I was in like third grade when we did that, and for some reason my childhood memories are *better* then ones I have from like a year ago....

Re: some Twisted Metal: Head-on screens
vigilante 8 2nd offence was great.. .awesome graphics on the dreamcast.. controls are way freaking different than twisted metal though... that moon raker car always scared me when it attacked.. (whiii ti ti ti whiii ti ti ti)
yep, twisted metal 1 and two are aweseome.. (two best) and black was freaking cool... kinda morbid though... 3 and 4 sucked balz

Re: some Twisted Metal: Head-on screens
And, of course, Rogue Trip was better then Vigilante 8. Anyone remember that game? With the Bosstones in the soundtrack...that game was good times.

That's a link to the Rogue Trip review.....
I highly recommend emulating it, if you know how.
